Hello everyone,
I'm new to this site. I'm a 40 yr old who suffered a miscarriage in July 2011. My baby had a chromosomal abnormality. I've been trying to calculate my ovulation time, but have not been successful. I got my period on Aug 22 then sept 17 and now Oct 14th. I feel so discouraged.

Hi, Motherrn. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I had a m/c last year from trisomy 13, so I do know the helpless and kinda guilty feeling.
We have some expert ladies here at figuring out cycles. Do you take your basal body temperature? Do you use OPKs? Were you regular or irregular before the m/c? I know after my D&C I was irregular for a few cycles. Consider getting the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. That's kind of a bible around here.

Thank u so much for responding. I'm sorry for your loss. My m/c was due to trisomy 13 as well. I was regular bf the m/c. I did use OPKs after one period, but it never resulted positive. That month I did become pregnant. This was the pregnancy I m/c. I will start taking my temperature and OPKs this month again. I will def buy the book. Thanks again.

I am very sorry for your loss but you found a good site. I had an ectopic last year and nobody ever really thinks it will be them. I am not an expert on charting but others are. Hugs.....

Hi there!

I'm so sorry you had to find a reason to come find the board, but there are a bunch of women here who have been there, done that. Don't be afraid to ask questions, chances are there is someone else who wants to know those answers too and are too shy to post. :)

I hope you get your BFP soon! Babydust to you! :)

good luck, MC are ahrder to recover from than ui anticipated, i think they are even harder when you reach a certain age and realze your chances are not on your side anymore.
