Hi ladies! My name is Jamie and DH is Todd. I've been a lurker on the TTCYFC board for about a year and becoming more "active" since some of my recent, unfortunate experiences with TTC. Someone recommended this board as a great support after m/c, so here I am! And here's my story...
DH and I have been "trying" (timing bd, charting, tests, opk's, etc, etc) since Jan. 2010, but off b/c since 2005. We've had just about every test done and alas...unexplained infertility. I have done 3 rounds of Clomid and 1 IUI. Then, in March, we were taking a trip, so decided to just give it a good, natural try with lots of BD'ing, opk's and I tried the guaifenesin thing. April 6th - BFP! We were so thrilled!
I went in for my 9 week appt on Tues. and there was no longer a heartbeat. I had a missed miscarriage that measured at 6 wks 2 days. So, I had a D&C on Fri. and today found out I may have to have it done again tomorrow. Ugh.
It is so hard to go from such happiness and excitement to completely the opposite. I can't even explain the pain I feel from this loss. I just never expected it. I mean, I guess none of us ever do. All I can do now is try to move forward. Anyway, thanks for listening and I look forward to getting to know all of you. And I hope sincerely for lots of BFP news this summer!

Thanks so much to all of you for the messages. I did not end up having to do another D&C - what a relief! I'm doing ok, dealing with this emotional roller coaster and hanging in there. Now we just play the waiting game for good ole AF. I've never been so excited for her arrival. I have about 4-5 weeks, according to the Dr and then we can start trying again. FX that she comes back quickly!
Hi Jamie - I am so sorry for your loss! I totally understand going from feelings of such happiness to absolute heartache in such a short period. When I had my M/C, DH and I had just finished telling the immediate family (we had no reason to keep it a secret for any period of time) about our wonderful news, only to have to tell them about the loss within the same week. I was just devastated and so I totally understand how you are feeling. I hope you take some comfort in finding us women who have gone through it as well... and I sure hope for the best for you!!

Hi Jamie. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I'm glad you found us, this is a great group of supportive women who are willing to "talk" to you about anything! Please keep posting here.
Oh, how did it go? Did you end up having to have another D&C? I really hope not. As if one isn't bad enough.

Hi Jamie! Welcome to the board, it is a wonderful place for support and info but mostly just some girlfriends you can talk to about ANYTHING!! I am so sorry for your loss, it is something that no one can understand unless they have been there, and we all have.
