Hi, I'm new to this board. I hope to start ttc after next AF but I'm having problems after my d+c. It has been 15 days since my d+c. I bled for 10 days then stopped. Now today it has started again, almost like a regular AF. Did something like this happen to anyone else? Help! I called the nurse but she hasn't called me back and I'm sitting here stressing.

Thanks,

Melinda

I am so sorry for your loss. This question has been asked in the past and many women (including myself) have talked about how this happened to them. I think it is completely normal, although, I would still call your Dr. and make sure that they think so too. Your Dr. knows your history and we don't. So, please don't stress about it too much, but please do check with your Dr.

Big hugs to you and GL with TTC again. I think you will find lots of love and support on this board.

Hi Melinda, I'm so sorry for your loss. The same thing happened to me. I bled for days after my D&C then stopped then started bleeding again. I called my dr. and he said it was totally normal. Then AF showed up day 35 after D&C. I would check with your dr. just to be sure, but I wouldn't worry too much.

Big (((HUGS)))

Same thing happened to me. Well, I bled for two days after D&C, then nothing for a week, then bled for 1 day(heavy!) then got AF four weeks later. My Dr said that the one day of bleeding was not AF but rather my uterus "cleansing" itself of remaining stuff. Whatever it was or wasn't, it didn't feel like AF. Like I said, I got my first official AF at 35 days after D&C. It seems like most women have crazy bleeding schedules the first month after D&C and we never know what it is. ((HUGS))
