Hi everyone! I'm back on these boards after a few years. Let me tell my back story. I started ttc beginning of 07. Thought it was going to be easy ..boy was I wrong! I went to an RE after a year off ttc. He tried a few months of progesterone after O. Did nothing. First round of clomid "bam" was preg. Was so thrilled. At 6 weeks we went in for the sono and nothing showed up. Turns out it was ectopic. So leap day 08 I went in for metho shot to end my first pregnancy. I had to wait 3 months to try again. Tried with clomid in May (That month I swear I had a chemical but no confirmation) and June with no luck. In late aug we did clomid iui/progesterone and got preg with my DS. At 9 months 36 weeks we found out he had a severe brain abnormality. He was born via c-section at 39 wk 6 days. he's got a chromosomal abnormality, he's a beautiful boy but very disabled. At 6 months after he was born I had some left over clomid and tried again 1 cycle with a 50 mg dose just to see. Got preg, at 7 weeks was all good! Had a normal pg but at 28 weeks found out I had Gestational diabetes. It was a little hard to manage but then my first son was hospitalized for about a month with a respiratory infection plus an infection in his finger. My water broke at 34 weeks and I had a pre mee baby boy. He's doing great now and is 2 and a half. I decided once again to ttc this past dec, my lmp was nov 25th but once again I took the left over clomid a 50 mg dose and became preg again, the test was pos on dec 25th. We were excited. Then at 7 weeks I started losing symptoms which was a big red flag for me, I went in for my 8 week sono and the embie was measuring 2 weeks behind and heart rate was 77. My past experience told me it was not going to be viable. So 3 days later I started bleeding a lot. The cramping wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was a little different than the ectopic which had more pain but less bleeding. I went back to my OB and he said 6-8 weeks before ttc again. I just turned 36 so I was worried the mc was an egg quality thing. I started a supplement called pregnitude and dhea. Hoping the next time I conceive it will all be healthy.
