Pam, one of my favorite jokes is about this guy who is in a town that's flooding. He has great faith, and knows that God will save him. His neighbors leave in a car, and say, "hey! We've got room for you!". He answers back, "thanks anyway! But God will save me!". Soon, he's trapped on the second floor of the house, leaning out the window, praying. He's interrupted by some friends on a boat. "Come join us! We saved you a place!". "No thanks! God will save me!". Soon, he's stranded on the roof. The Red Cross sends a helicopter with a rope ladder. "Grab on and climb up!" shouts the rescuer. "it's okay! Go without me!" he answers, knowing that God will save him, and he goes back to praying. Soon he drowns, and goes to heaven. When he meets God, he says, God, what happened? I had great faith, and I knew you would save me!" God answers, "who do you think sent the car, the boat, and the helicopter?"I have faith also, and find a lot of personal comfort in prayer and scriptures, but I also think that God has given us more information in this day and age than we've ever had before, and we're always learning more. When we want something badly enough to seek and quest for it, it's wonderful to have faith to get us through the rough times, as well as the good, but I also believe that god wants us to more work to attain our goals, besides only prayer. While faith does come up here now and then, as a subject of its own, this board is more where the specifics of techniques for "heavy-duty trying" are discussed, and support is offered when we're going through losses, or experiencing the let-down of not being pregnant AGAIN, or going crazy waiting until we are. I hope you stay here and share your experiences as well, but i hope you'll also check out the TTC-Christian Sisters board, where you might be able to find some new friends who do derive comfort from sharing scripture verses and prayers on a more literal level. I don't remember seeing you here before! I'm sorry if i missed your intro! I'm sorry for your losses, and i hope that you are able to hold your own little miracle soon!Kelly
I'm so sorry. I

Welcome Cam and I'm so sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Over 4 years of TTC is a verrrry long time to go with nothing to show for it. Im so sorry! I would try to see a specialist, like an RE, and get some additional testing done to figure out where to go from here. Have you only been trying natural methods, or have you tried other things like Clomid and injectables yet?
Also please check out the folder below called "TTC for 9+ months." You can chat with other "long-timers" and commiserate together about the trials and frustrations of TTC for far too long.
PS Please fporgive me if these suggestions have already been posted, I didnt get thechance to read other replies before I wrote this.
