I am sorry for your loss. I too was pregnant in July 2010 and lost it due to an ectopic. We have been trying ever since with no luck and we are moving onto IVF. Don't let my experiences scare you because a lot of people get lucky and get pregnant when they want to be. Unfortunately that doesn't happen for me.

Good luck.

I can only speak for my own experience, but we didn't ever really have a hard time getting pregnant. Got pregnant with my DD after just 2 months of trying, and delivered a healthy girl. When we decided to go for #2, I got pregnant within 2 months of stopping breastfeeding, but miscarried. After getting the green light to try again, we got pregnant on our 2nd cycle, but also miscarried. Getting pregnant has remained relatively easy for us. Staying pregnant has been a challenge.

As for early pregnancy symptoms, its so tricky because so many PMS symptoms are the same as pregnancy symptoms! Tender breasts, light cramping, retaining water, etc. Good luck and keep us posted.

Welcome to the board, I'm so sorry for your loss.

As for your first question, my experience with trying after the first loss is hopefully not very common, but my experience was that we conceived without trying the first time, my cycles never did return to normal without the help of meds, and it took us 7 more years to get pregnant again. I miscarried that baby as well. And it took 3 more years to get pregnant again, and my little boy was born still at 35w1d due to severe preeclampsia. So yes, we have definitely had trouble conceiving as easily as the first time after a miscarriage.

As for signs - it's so tricky. Honestly, most of the "early" signs can also be attributed to your period coming. To a TTC woman, those are easily taken as early pregnancy signs, only to make the appearance of your period that much harder. As a girl who has TTC for 11 and a half years, I can tell you that your body can definitely play tricks on you. There were many a month that I just KNEW I was pregnant, and I never was.

TTC is so hard both physically and mentally. I'm sorry you're going through this. You've found a great group of women who are super knowledgeable and supportive as well. I hope you'll find the support you are looking for here.

I'm sorry for your loss and I'm glad you found us! I really can't help you out with ease of TTC after Miscarriage. TTC has never been easy for us, so I really don't have any good information for you about that.

As for the symptoms, it could be pregnancy, but it could also just be imaginary pregnancy symptoms (I hate to use the words "it's all in your head" but we all do that - psych ourselves up). It could also just be hormone fluctuations. Sometimes when you're TTC, you become hyper-aware of your hormone fluctuations and what they are doing to your body. Plus, I know that for me, if I get slightly sore boobs, I start pressing on them and that makes them feel more sensitive, and then I get more excited that it could really be a pg, and then it often just turns out to be simple hormones.

That being said, if you are about 10dpo, then it IS entirely possible that implantation could have just happened and you could expect to get a positive test in a few days, if you did happen to conceive. Good luck! I hope you have an easy TTC journey this time around!
