Hello everyone,
My name is Jessica, My wonderful SO Keith and I have our son Damien, who is not technically his child, but might as well be. We have been trying and not really trying but not preventing for the past year. Does that make sense? We've varied between them all. I got pregnant on the nuva ring back in august of 2009 and suffered a miscarriage in September of 2009. Since then SO and I have been actively trying, then getting worn out from the heart break, but never prevented, then trying again, and it goes back and forth. Here's the deal. I'm latex sensitive, so condoms were never a go for us. it was always just preventing by avoidance for a while before we decided to TTC. I'm very surprised we haven't gotten PG yet. so in the middle of my cycle, last month, I decided i'd try temping and keeping track of my cycle through Fertility friend. This was when we learned that I had ovulated later in my cycle that I originally thought I had. CD17, last cycle. and I only had a 10 day luteal phase. This month, We were full on temping and trying so we're hoping this is it. I will post my charts for you to see. Let me know what you think?

I am sorry for your loss last September. It does get hard trying each month with no results to show for it. My husband and I are still trying for our 1st and we had an ectopic pregnancy that ended in July of this year. We have to wait until our 3rd cycle to try again at the end of October. I am not a real good chart reader but we have tons of women who are.

Welcome to the board!

Welcome, I hope you find good help here.

I have the same ovulation problem that you do. I ovulate on day 17 and have a 10 day LP. I didn't know until we went to an RE after 18 cycles of TTC. Its my understanding that 10 days is just too short for fertilization and implantation. We did

Nessa, I am very sorry for all of the loss you have experienced. It sounds to me like your doctor was not at all helpful for you during your loss. You might want to look for a new, more sympathetic and understanding care provider. You might also want to read the section below called "Moms of One or More", created for BTDT moms who are TTC after a loss. You might also want to repost your introduction into a new thread, so that it doesnt get lost inside of this one. Thanks for being here, and please ask if you have more questions.
