Urine Pregnancy Test

Hi everyone,
A couple of years ago I think I might have had a miscarriage. It is unclear and too late now to know for sure, but it still bothers me. I had been late for my period and firgured I was just stressed. However, after going on two months and no period I knew something was up.
As for whether you had a miscarriage, it's hard to know for sure. You might have had an early miscarriage that didn't register on a urine HCG test. But, then again, there could be another reason for the bleeding. One thing that comes to mind is Endometriosis. But, you can't do a test for that - they would have to go in surgically to confirm that you have endometriosis. But, if it was a one-time event and you don't have pain with your cycles, then it's not necessarily what you have (but then again, it could be...who knows?). If it bothers you enough, ask a doctor about it and maybe you can get to the bottom of things. They can test hormone levels, check your IUD placement, do an HSG dye test that would check for uterine scarring/blocked tubes. (((HUGS))) It's definitely hard when you don't have any answers. I hope it wasn't a miscarriage, but I hope that whatever it was, you can at least try to find some answers or rule things out and just be able to call it a weird month.
If you didn't have a period for 2 months, were pregnant and then had a m/c, you would have been far enough along that you would have had plenty of HCG left in your system to get a positive pregnancy test. At 8 weeks pregnant, your HCG would be easily in the thousands and it usually takes weeks for all of that to leave your system. Most urine tests will pick up any HCG level above 20 or 25.
That sounds like a very unfortunate situation, but I do agree with Kelly. I don't think it was a miscarriage for the same reasons Kelly listed. If you had been that far along even a dollar store pregnancy test would have picked up the hcg that would have had to have been in your system at that point. I think you can let go of the worry chica. :)
