"WOW!" Congrats April (johalex426), you're our Woman of the Week!

The spotlight is on you this week. Be prepared to answers lots of questions so that we can get to know you better.

Here is your first question: How did you and your DH meet? How did the marriage proposal go?

Michelle, that IS a different question, but that is why we LOVE you! NO, I would not choose blindness and deafness for a year for a million bucks. I would feel like I was missing out on an entire year of my life. I would rather simply be comfortable than RICH, if that were the price to pay.

The hardest thing about raising twins, i would say, was the first year- when it felt like all I did was nurse them. Also, trying to give enough time to each one, esp when I had one really NEEDY one, was very hard too. And not being able to hand anything down, and needing two of everything with no other sibs. THAT was hard!

The best part of it has been all the hoopla they caused, esp in my family. They were like little celebrities for a while, to be doted on and dressed up so cute and adorable! And picture time was fun for me too, and I have tons of nice pictures to remember that time. And who can forget the HUGS, and reading to both of them at the same time. Those are the moments that make it all worth while.

The hardest thing about having boy/girl twins has been recently, when I have to separate them when they have friends over, for sleepovers! And having different parties now with totally different plans and activities. It is hard that way!

The best part of having boy/girl twins? I do like that they have their own identities and friends, etc because they are boy/girl. If it were the same sex, they would be more likely to fight over friends, clothes, etc and we don't have that issue.

Hey, I think you live near Courtney! doesn't she?

Anyway, would you take a million dollars to be blind and deaf for a year? :)

(I know it's a weird question but I am tired of beef or chicken questions LOL)

Good question, Carley!! I currently live back in the hometown that I grew up in. Well, in the same vicinity of the nearby CITY, if that makes sense. I spent years just dying to get out, and found myself wishing and waiting for us to get back in. I followed my dh around with his job- one hour West, two hours Southeast where we stayed a while. Then, dh had a shot at a job in a nearby city, and we jumped. Now, I live close to both my Mom and MIL, a half mile from SIL, and LOVE it! I love that I have so much to choose from close by... from doctors, to shopping, etc. I also love that I am on the outskirts, and close to the *country* and feel like I have my own little corner of the world. With an aging Mom who is 83, I count my blessings daily that i live back near family. Oh, and my friends, too. Though, I admit it is HARD trying to fit time in to see them as we all lead busy lives, but I digress.

Oh, and I live halfway between Rochester, NY and Syracuse, NY (Upstate) if you were curious!

If i could go anywhere? I guess right now I would say Italy!
Ever since I read Eat, Pray, Love.. I have been fascinated with this country. I would especially love to go to Rome to see the ruins, and also to Venice for some romantic time in a gondola. :o)

If I could meet anyone, I would LOVE to meet Hilary Clinton. She is such a strong woman in my eyes, and even when faced with adversity... overcame that and continues marching on with her head high.
