I feel stupid cause I always seen to ask the same question, but I love to hear the stories!
How did you and DH meet?
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Okay, let's try this again. My responses will be briefer, b/c I'm still mad about losing my first draft!
Again, for being the random WOW! Thanks, Nicole.
1) I met DH in Jan. 98 and we started dating in spring of 98. He proposed Christmas of 99. We had planned on a 2002 wedding, but didn't get married until 2010! So we've been together for around 11.5 years. When someone asks in the future how long we've been married, I'm counting *all* of the years!
2) Favorite sites are Top Documentary Films.com (there's something for everyone there!) and MaxKeiser.com (for impeccable, independent reporting on everything related to markets, finance, and scandal!)
3) Not sure that I understand the question. Generally, I'm happy when people continue learning *anything* new. IMO, adults who abruptly stop learning and don't in any way try to inform themselves further/ develop themselves further intellectually are dead people. Zombies. If I had a platform with a huge megaphone that could reach not just TTCAM ladies, but the entire country, I'd wish for people to further their understanding of economic inequality. It is, after all, at the root of the many structural problems underlying our (pathetic) economy. However, precious few politicians (of any political stripe) or powerful people who *do* have such a platform are willing to go there. Fact is that economic inequality is as bad now as it was in the 1920s. And if one looks at IRS data (which is more accurate in capturing wealth and income data), the economic divide in the US more closely approximates that of the Gilded Age. Where some people yell out in fear of the US tilting towards "socialism," in all actuality, it's more like we're tilting towards neo-feudalism.
I'd be remiss if I didn't offer a tiny slice of info. after going off on that, so here are 15 not-so-fun charts:

Carly - DH and I met at university. For a time, he was one of my *ahem* adjunct instructors. (Talk about sounding like a bad after- school special!)
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I'd like to travel to Poland. That's where most of my ancestors came from. I'd also like to go to Germany, as I have a very dear friend who lives there just outside of Cologne. Who knows, maybe one day I'll get to visit her and we can hop a plane to Poland for a few days! I'd love it, only I'd probably only be able to ask for beer and curse people out in Polish, since only a tiny fragment of the language got passed down to me by my grandparents.
1) what is your one Guilty Pleasure?
2) If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
3)What is your favorite season?

1) The only one I can think of is buying one of these:

once every month or so. It's absolutely delicious, but I feel bad for spending that much on flavored beer.
2) Hmmmm. Sometimes I wish that I wasn't the kind of person who analyzes everything from every imaginable angle. It's draining, and doesn't seem to be a quality of character that too many people enjoy.
3) Fall!
What's your favorite song?
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Favorite song is "Let It Be" by The Beatles.
I haven't seen enough of the world to say where I'd most want to live. It would be somewhere with huge, beautiful mountains, though!
