UGH!
Ive been trying to limit sugar but Ive never cut out dairy.
NO ice cream?! Ahhhhhhh!

She said Im very damp & it causes problems with egg 'sticking'
Of course then it got me thinking if I was pregnant last month as she also asked if there was any change it was just spotting & I was pregnant. She raised her eyebrow the last time I saw her during 2ww. I decided I didnt want to know the answer so I didnt ask.

Wow, no dairy or sugar would be a very very difficult diet plan to follow. Me personally, I am a vegetarian, so I often use dairy products as my main source of calcium and protein. And I have a major sweet tooth... It would be just about impossible for me to do that. But I wish you all the best!

Maybe you can find some really good diabetic recipes to add to your diet? Have you ever considered talking with a nutritionist to help you?

Ya I agree that I will try my best & give myself a few breaks.
I have been only having coffee on w/es but that has certainly been slipping as the months pass & nothing happens.

I dont drink milk so thats not hard but I love chocolate, ice cream & do use sugar, not to mention its in everything.

Ive been trying to only eat whole foods.

I guess Im confused & should ask about cold damp & hot damp. It seems like the foods you should eat & shouldnt are total opposite so I dont know which I should be following. My body temp is hot as they are always trying to cool it, but Im usually cold & have cold hands feet & stomach.

I guess I have to go back to eating broccoli & spinach for lunch. Yipppee ;)

Oh ya & Im allergic to the last batch of herbs they gave me, so I went back to taking my first batch since thats what I was taking last month b4 O.

Ya you're lucky.

I think my body is totally out of whack. My temp is still so high compared to most ppl. I have poor digestion, which I think is in line with dampness.

She didnt say anything about fat...I do O late, well late for my teeny cycle. So far it seems like even later since still no HIGH on FM. Ya thats right, CD12 & not even a high! I Od CD14 last month. Granted I had a hysteroscopy & a cold this cycle pre O so who knows.

Clearly my old body is way out of whack.

Ill see how long I can keep it up...Ill just try & limit as much as I can.
I think Im also supposed to avoid fried foods. HA!

No I have not thought of nutritionist. It might be a good idea, but honestly I hate appts & Drs, etc...Im already going to acupuncture twice/week, getting herbs twice week. I havent even seen a general practitioner in probably 18 yrs or more. Im thinking I should start there ;)

I got a juice machine in hopes of making some 'yummy' green food shakes :) We'll see how it works out. The plus side is I should drop some of that weight Ive been looking to.

That's a bummer - I've been off Ice Cream and anything sour since I started... :( I can't have anything really cold (ie: I have to drink room temp water) or ice cream, slushy/Icee type drinks (which I love) and can't have pickles, tart lemon/lime stuff... I have a cold uterus and I need to do more to warm it... I have a Liver Qi Stagnation with a Kidney deficiency... I'm also not suppose to have soda or alcohol, but I cut myself some slack - all we can do is try right? GL - LMK how it goes for you...

They never really said anything at acupuncture about food before.
They always say they are trying to lower my temp, but I usually feel cold.
How do you know you have a cold uterus? is it cold to the touch? Mine is & I assumed that is also my problem but is that possible when my temps are so high? I just try to diagnose from the Infertilty Cure book.

I have been drinking warm water for awhile too and also limiting alcohol & coffee but Ive been getting lax on alcohol & coffee, especially on the weekends.
I used to have a glass of wine everyday but havent for probably a yr now.

At any rate Im already screwed for this cycle. My lining was 7mm @ CD7, so Im guessing that by now its already as thick as it should be & I probably wont O for 3-4 days. Here I was worried it was too thin now maybe its too thick. I cant win...

Wow. If I had to go without dairy AND sugar you'd have to lock me up. Good Luck. I can't imagine that being easy. That is so interesting all the things you learn from the accupuncturist. Fwiw I like soy milk a lot, especially in coffee. And I also used to make juices at one of my jobs, Lmk if you need a recipe!

Hi Meaghan... you mentioned using soy and there are studies that suggest too much soy can mess with your hormones.
