Annual GYN on CD15

I think it will be fine, but thought I'd run this thought by you ladies. Will having my appointment on CD15, a few days after O be a problem in any way? I'm thinking also of asking her if she has any idea what the RE would want to do the next month (if not pg) and see if there are any tests she thinks might be good to run now instead of waiting for the RE to order them (especially since my insurance does not cover IF in any way, shape or form). I really wish the RE hadn't said we'd be pg by June. I'm starting to feel like we're failing. Ugh.

Thanks ladies.

Lydia - I can't think of any reason of why the annual would be a problem so soon after O.

I know it hasn't really been that long for me. This is the start of cycle 5 since getting the ok to TTC. I don't understand why the RE was so positive we'd be pg by June. I thought that would be nice, but I wasn't willing to bet on it. Ok, yes when we did get pg that was the first month but I think we were just lucky, not lucky enough since it ended in m/c but you know what I mean. If it were just me I wouldn't really think too much of it. I know that on average most couples conceive within 12 months, so 5 is a drop in the bucket. The RE said to come in if not pg by June. I thought he'd give us 6 cycles at least. I'm starting to feel down since he was so certain. I'm 31, so I really didn't think my age was a huge factor. Maybe he's concerned that I might have more polyps again, and honestly I am wondering about that myself. If I have more and he wants surgery to remove them again I don't know if we'll do it. I don't want to have to make that decision. Hopefully I'm just getting way ahead of myself and won't have to go there.

The insurance won't cover things if they have an IF diagnosis. My surgeries and RE visits so far have been covered, but that has been tied to my SU dx, which is a congenital defect. I don't know if future things would be tied to that dx or not. The RE, I believe, is also a GYN that sees women for annuals and such. I don't have an IF diagnosis and I don't know if that is where I'm even headed. Sigh, a lot of unknowns at the moment.

At the very least, the appointment with my GYN will be a good opportunity to catch her up on things since the m/c and get her opinion on any testing we could do now.

Thank you for your reply, Julia.

Julia,

Oh, yes, I see how that was confusing. Sorry. I guess my emotions are slightly more in control than logic today.

What you said makes sense and I really appreciate it.

Big hugs for you as well.
