DH and I went to the RE today. We each had 4 vials of blood drawn. DH also banked a sperm sample (he hates having to use the cup-of-shame). I wish they had called to give us a count/analysis. I know he's only been on clomid for a few weeks, but I'm hoping for the best. After my blood draw, I saw my RE walking down the hallway and she paused to answer a few questions. I asked her about the results of "resolving endometritis" and if I would need more treatment or if it would be gone in time for IVF. She said that endometritis is something that responds to treatment, but slowly. She said I won't need more treatment and that my # of inflamed cells were half after the treatment than the # before the treatment. She said if she were to

Sounds like some great news! I did have to laugh at "the cup of shame". Here's to hoping that AF comes really soon and that you can deal with all the bloodwork before school starts up again. Good luck! Sounds like things are rolling along really well!

I am glad that things should work out for you regarding the endometritis. We are just starting to think about IVF and it is daunting to think of the additional tests and waiting you have to do. They want me to do a test to check the uterus and it can take weeks to get insurance figured out and I am hoping that it will be covered but doubt it. I am glad that you are getting closer to your goal of IVF in June. I hope we get everything in order by then too.

Hopefully 2011 will bring us both babies! :smileyhappy:

My insurance, which is crappy, did cover the hysteroscopy and the HSG I had done after the m/c because it wasn't coded for infertlity. It didn't cover the one I had done before the m/c.
A friend of mine who's done IVF said the waiting is the worst. I figure I have waited "patiently" this long...in theory I could be pg in 4 more months. I can wait a little more.
I hope you two come to a decision soon and all your steps go smoothly!

My insurance, which is crappy, didn't cover my first HSG 2 yrs ago, but did cover the one I had after the m/x and the hysteroscopy. I guess it is coded differently after that.

The waiting is the hardest part, but

I hope AF comes soon so you can move on, I know how frustrating the waiting is. GL on the sperm count as well.
