Hi Ladies -

While I haven't posted in a while, I am still here lurking/offering support when I can while I was "benched" for a few months. It's actually been a very blissful three months with no stress, no wondering if I'm O'ing, not knowing what CD I was on... Pure bliss. So now it begins. Due to my older age and my extremely low egg quality (I have a high FSH) I would more than likely continue to miscarry if I am ever fortunate enought to get another BFP and I just won't put myself or DH through that time and time again - its just insane - its like continually pouring salt in the wounds. While I am sure there

I *know* this is it for you. I know that egg quality is the problem, not because IVF doesn't work for you. So when they transfer a top notch egg, you're as good as gold! :)

Ann I am so happy for you. I am glad you and your doctor were able to test and realize your egg quality and you have chosen a path to get you that baby now instead of trying to hold out hope. I have everything crossed for you!!! Love ya chica!!

Thanks everyone. We are pretty excited, but I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic because we know how it goes when you get your hopes up and then BFN... :smileysad:

LaRae - my dr. did the Clomid Challenge with me so CD3 was 11 and CD10 was 19! Yikes. I've lowered my FSH through acupunture and my CD3 was a 4, but you are only as good as your highest FSH is what the experts say...
