Back from surgery

I'm back home and feeling ok. A little groggy, but that'll get better. The RE removed the polyps!! I don't know how many. I have to be on estrogen for 30 days. I asked the RE when we could get back to TTC and he said we'll talk about it at the follow-up appointment. I'm guessing it won't be until I'm done with the estrogen.

I had some jello and this time I didn't redecorated the floor with it so DH is very happy. LOL. Almost time for some pain meds. This time the anesthesia made me shiver and I woke up with a warming blanket on. I wasn't cold so I was confused as to why I was shivering. Ahh, well. They gave me something and it went away. Love it when medicine acts quickly and as it should.

HUGS ladies! You rock!

My mom never had one of those "appropriate filters"...that would be great. I went back to work today and it wasn't too bad. Yes, looking forward to getting back in the saddle.

Sounds like something my mom would say. I swear, as they get older their "Appropriate Filter" gets turned off. I hope you're getting some good rest so you can get back in the saddle!

Thanks, Dustie! DH also told me that the RE said it appears that I am prone to having polyps. I'm not sure what that means. I told my mom and she asked if I would have to have this surgery EVERY time I wanted to be pg. I don't know the answer. She snapped, "Well, I hope you don't want a large family!" Thanks, Mom, geez...way to be supportive.

Yes, I hope we are only waiting on the estrogen now (well, probably the AF after that too). DH was disappointed because he told me he wanted to BD on New Year's eve. The RE said it would be ok to DTD. LOL, that was DH's consolation prize. We'll get there.

LOL, I know! When I came back from going to the bathroom the nurse wanted to put it back on me. I said "no thanks, I'm plenty warm." She took my temp--99.9. She said, "Ok, guess you don't need it." DH just laughed. Ha!!

I am glad to hear it went well, and that you are resting somewhat comfortably. I hope you have a quick healthy recovery and that you can ttc as soon as you finish the estrogen. KUP on the follow up visit!

Lydia, I am SO glad things went well. The shivers is very common side effect of anesthesia. When I had my c-section with DD, the epidural did that to me big time. They kept putting blanket after blanket on me and I was like "stop it! I am NOT cold!"
