It went well all things considered!

I mean the CD 3 appt is always pretty boring. They're just making sure there aren't any ugly looking cysts (those will get your cycle canceled in a heartbeat!) or other weird stuff going on. Basically just getting the green light to move forward with the cycle. I was all clear.

They also draw some blood to check FSH, LSH and Estrogen levels. They check hCG levels to make SURE you're not pg. I'm like HELLOOOO! I'm bleeding like a stuck pig over here! I assure you I am NOT pg! But they want to be sure sure.

So I start injections tonight and my first follicle check is Sunday morning. They won't see anything measurable that early. They never do. I wish they would just let me skip that one and wait a couple more days - save me some money but noooooo they have their "procedure".

IUI's will likely be over the holiday, July 4th and 5th and that's okay by me. I am going to tryyyy to push it back to the 5th and 6th as DH works the 4th. They can somewhat control your IUI date by a day or so based on med dosage. Ya know, increase it some if you need a sooner IUI date or cut back a little if you need to wait another day.

I have done Bravelle (my new med) before but only in small doses in conjunction with Femara in a hybrid cycle so I have no idea how I will respond to straight Bravelle. Time will tell!

I am glad you had a good appointment. It is so frustrating when they do things that you don't need that end up costing extra money. Good luck this month Chelle!! FX

Thanks, guys!

Yes during an RE cycle the first two weeks I can barely keep straight what day it is. Everything is like a whirlwind and then after the IUI they throw you out to sea and you're like "WTF? Hello? Is anyone out there???" LOL

That’s why sometimes I test out my trigger. Gives me something to do daily and plus I know when the trigger is gone and when I can start testing for real! If I don't test out the trigger, I have no choice but to wait until 14 DPO to test to not risk a false positive! That's torture! But testing out your trigger can be torture, too if you don't be really careful with it.

Sometimes I test out my trigger just so I can see what a blazing BFP looks like! LOL I sometimes wonder if they even really exist as even my real BFP's are so faint and whimpy :( Damn teeny tiny betas.

Anyway, I am really trying to gather all my hope for this cycle and be positive. Although it doesn't take much to cause the house of cards to come crashing down. For example when they tell me I only have like 2 follicles and my Estrogen is in the toilet. Ironically when that happened I got my BFP - eh who knows. It's all such a gamble.

I'm rambling - love ya'll! Thanks for listening!

Wendy! I am so happy to hear from you! I hope things are well with you!

Yes, they are going to start me on Progesterone 4 days post trigger which should be about 3 DPO. I do feel a little bit better having it. Anything I can do to maybe prevent a m/c is a good thing so far as I'm concerned!
