Best Questions to Ask RE?

I have an appointment on Monday with my RE to discuss recurrent pregnancy loss. When I made my appointment, a different doc (the one I saw while my RE was on vacation this last cycle) suggested that we would probably proceed with some b/w, and when DH gets back he will have some as well. What kind of b/w can I expect them to do? What sorts of things may they test for? She said that some of the tests may take a while because they have to be sent to the Mainland (we're in HI), just curious if anyone has thoughts on what it could be. I've done anything and everything as far as IF workups go, just wondering what they check directly related to m/c.

Additionally, I have my list of questions to take with me, but I want to be over-prepared and am curious to know what sorts of questions either you have asked or would recommend me asking? I have an extended appointment (a whopping 30 minutes) so we have plenty of time to chat.

TIA!

An extended appointment is 30 minutes? How long is a normal appointment? 10 minutes? Do you know if that includes an exam? Ok, I re-read your post and you say the RE mentioned b/w and sounds like you've been there before. Well, 30 minutes for talking isn't bad then!

Questions to ask: how about WTH is going on? LOL, ok, you probably already thought of that one and have a much better way of saying it.

It's just a thought because I'm dealing with it now but have structural things, like a septum, been considered/ruled out?

I'm sure most of the things I would think to ask are already on your list.

GL! I'll be thinking good thoughts for you Monday!

I'm glad you love your RE! Mine's great too. I'm glad that the physical things have been ruled out (with good results) and you've had the previous b/w. I hope they just want to run a few tests and you get your results quickly, even the one(s) that come from the mainland. It sounds like your RE is on top of things and you are in good hands.
