soooooo, last night at 5:45 p.m. I got a call from my RE (himself, not the nurse)....my blood work results are starting to come back.
1. one of the clotting disorder tests came back "borderline" and he wanted to know if I've ever had any problems with blood clotting. I said no. He said it's borderline enough that he does not think it caused the m/cs, BUT he wants to retest again on July 15th and if it's still coming back positive, send me to a hematologist for treatment. I would be kinda relieved if this is the problem - it would be nice to have a reason for the m/cs. I know the RE said that it's "borderline" so he doesn't think it caused the m/cs, but really, if it wasn't cause for concern, he wouldn't be having me retest and then seeing a hematologist......
2. Apparently, I am NOT immune to the chicken pox. I know I sort of had them when I was kid, but only got like 6 pox, so was never sure. So he wants me to go get vaccinated, but then we will have to take a month off from TTC after the vaccine. I told him I hope I don't get a BFP this cycle and he said even if I am PG, not to worry - it's unlikely I'd get exposed to it, but would be better if I got vaccinated since we are actively TTC. If you get the chicken pox while you are PG, then it can cause birth defects or even death of the baby, not good. Plus, since I have a 3.5 year old, my risk of exposure is probably a little higher than average.
