They showed nada!
Much as i suspected since they kept having the nurse call me back. I figured they would have Dr tell me if it was big bad news.

Of course given the info Danielle posted re: testing & I take it with a grain of salt anyway.

Im having a bunch different blood tests drawn tomorrow & then HSG on 14th. Im willing to bet they all come back OK as well.

My next goal is getting Dr to give me new Progesterone rx. I just have a bad feeling about it. At least I have a few months left from my old RX & I wont take it until next cycle anyway as Im curious where I stand w/o it now since Ive been on it for awhile now.

Well Mindy, I can we can say that no news is good news?! Maybe?

I don't feel like I got a really legit answer either, especially since my baby was a girl.

I hope the b/w they run on you will give you some answers though. I'm still waiting to see what tests my ob will run.

Let us know what those blood tests show.

God bless,

Danielle

Ya know, those tests are a double edged sword. Had you gotten news that the baby was chromosmally abnormal that would have meant it never had a chance which is sad but to know it was normal means there is no REASON and it should have lived. It's all so hard. I hope you can get your hands on the Progesterone RX. I know how you feel. I had to really fight for it, too and only got it after my second loss. Even then I had to fight tooth and nail.

Ya thats what I was thinking but like you said if it was a girl then it really only says we're OK, which we kinda knew right ;)

I didnt ask what the sex was, at what point can they tell anyway? Maybe thats a stupid question but I honestly dont know the answer. I only had a yolk sac which stopped growing @ 5.5wks. Anyway, I also didnt ask about the heavy lifting. I forgot but part of me doesnt want to know the answer anyway. I cant dwell on that. Ill just be sure not to do it again if I ever get pregnant again.

Ill let you know what blood tests say...werent you having some tests done?

To answer the when the can tell if it's a boy/girl question with my Blighted Ovum they didn't tell me so I assume they didn't know (I know it was a boy, I just know) with my other 2 (both 6 weeks) they were able to tell and they were both girls. All of my chromosomal testing, they did it on all three because I'm an Ashkanazi, Sephardic, and Israeli (that basically means that I'm REALLY REALLY JEWISH) and we were trying to figure out if my husband was a carrier for any of the diseases I carry (insurance would cover chromosomal testing of the baby but not of my husband, makes no sense) and everything came back normal so I don't know. We've pretty much discovered that I don't produce enough progesterone and that's the reason for my losses, at least so says my OB who I actually really like. anyways I realized this has majorly gone away from the original topic.....I hope they figure out what is going on!!! Sorry you didn't get any answers!

Yes, I'm supposed to have some done, but my ob's been incredibly busy because he's been taking over his partner's patients (as well as caring for his own)

Thx for info.

Thats crazy about ins not covering that testing. They drive me bonkers trying to figure out what & why they cover certain things. Every time I get a stmt Im so confused. I also dont see how it cost over 10k for my D&C. Thats totally insane.

I also dont produce enough Progesterone & Ive been on supplements post O since Sept. Too bad they only gave me 100mg then & I upped it myself as I knew it wasnt enough & I got pregnant that month (Nov) & then m/c & my progesterone was low. AFter that we increased it to 400mg. Im just petrified my new Dr is anti-Progesterone & I need a new RX.
