We are in a very similar position (see my post on my "mild" septum diagnosis)!

Ugh! I could NOT get on to iVillage last night and it was PISSING me off!

I am lmaooooo over here at the reference! Do I HAVE to tell you what I would do??? Take the Femara! So what if it doesn't work - then it doesn't work and you try again next cycle! Not a big deal! It won't hurt anything at all! I say do it! (are you shocked????) LOL

Aryn, I just read your thread....I would continue with this cycle since you're already at cd10....although I totally agree about being freaked out that something might happen that I could have prevented!

Michelle, It was so strange to me that nobody responded to my thread last night...I kept picking up my iPod touch all night....DH wanted to know what was up and when I explained, he said 'absolutely NOT- if the Dr. tells you something, you need to do it.'

SIGH

So, I didn't take the Femara...although I COULD HAVE!

I know! I was so madddd! I kept trying to get on all night! You're right - maybe it was fate stopping you but I think fate was WRONG! LOL

You should be fine TTC this cycle even with the hysteroscopy. I had a HSG which is basically the same thing

Cheryl, I do like the miracle idea! :) However, we just scheduled the hysteroscopy for Tuesday and there's to be 'nothing put into the vagina' for two weeks- including tampons! So there goes our BDing! :(

Hi, there. I had a question for you about your hysteroscopy. Did the doc tell you it was ok to DTD before surgery? I'll be having a lap/hysteroscopy in 2 weeks. We weren't planning on DTD but since I've been on monophasic BCP for almost 2 months now and we'll have to wait 3 months after the surgery before we can TTC DH is wanting to DTD. My RE also said nothing in the v-g for 2 weeks post-op. It sounds like from the pp in this thread that you were ok to DTD prior to surgery.

Thanks!

Lydia, yeah, we did it and nothing was ever said otherwise. I asked when we could resume post surgery and was told to resume as I felt up to it...well, two days later I felt up to it and although I was nervous about it hurting, it was fine. I only took pain pills the day of......it was MUCH easier than I thought it would be.

I hope yours goes well. I know how frustrating it is to have to wait to TTC.

DId your Dr say no sex post hysteroscopy for 2 wks as you had polyp removed or just due to the hysteroscopy itself?
My RE said nothing about not TTC this month due to hysteroscopy.

After the hysteroscopy your Dr said it was fine to have sex when you felt OK?
