Follicle check - good news

Woohoo! :smileyhappy: I have two dominant follicles on the right ovary - one is 19mm, the other is 19.9mm. There are two on the left ovary that are 13mm each, but that's too small. The nurse was happy and to wait for the doctor to call and tell me the specific timing, but that I'd be giving myself the shot tonight and IUI on Saturday. She said my lining is 11.5 thick . I think that's good.
I'm ready. Very ready.

Ahhhhh no :( Sorry...even if the released an egg, they'd almost certainly be immature and infertilizable

Chouli - I wondered the same thing this cycle. On CD 13, I had one at 23.5, one at 18.5, two at 16.5 and then two others at 14. I triggered that night and we DTD that night and 36 hours later. I wondered if the two 14s would go, but I doubt it. Even with them growing 1-2 mm per day, they would still only be around 16 when they released and not quite mature enough. I do think there is a good chance my 16.5 one released an egg, though.

If this cycle is a BFN for me, I am going to ditch Clomid. The headaches are killing me and my lining was substantially smaller this go around. I am going to ask about Femara and go from there. May take one cycle off and try naturally (with the hoildays and everything).

But none of that matters, right? B/c we are both getting our BFPs this month!

GL on the IUI on Sat. Being on the weekend seems so much more stress-free than during the week. That also means that your 7 dpo prog test should be next Sat, right?

Aryn, for the record I think your 16.5 had a decent chance, too! About a 75% chance with a 17 (and I am choosing to round up because it's so darn close!)

I think you have GREAT follies and an excellent chance of a BFP. I've heard clomid gives you more side effects, though. I haven't had any side effects with femara other than a few hotflashes. And my lining kinda speaks for itself. 11.5 on CD10...I'm taking a victory lap over that badboy. I would love to have had more follicles like you, but my RE won't do IUI for someone with more than 3 so she would have called it off anyway.
Yeah, the Saturday timing is awesome! How are your ovaries feeling after the Ovidrel? Any pains? Mine hurt a bit now and I remember the actual ovulation is going to be a bit painful.
FX. for us both!

I think I was a textbook case - I triggered at 6 pm on Monday night and at 5:30 am on Wed morning, the pains in my left ovary woke me up. They were pretty bad for about an hour, then disappeared. Looks like I O'd 35-1/2 hours after I triggered. The nurse said it would be about 36 hours! :)

But yes, the pain for about an hour was pretty bad. It was about 90% confined to my left side, where the bigger follicles were. Just a tiny bit on my right side. Leading up to O wasn't painful, jut super uncomfortable. Like when I would sit down I had to do it very gingerly or else I felt like my abdomen would pop!

Since about 7 am on Wed morning, zero pains!

oohhh, I am going to go with your expert advice! That would be four eggs! If my RE is at all right and egg quality is my issue, then I gotta get at least one good one from four, right?????

Yep! That was always the goal my RE had. She said we want a good number of eggs because of your prior losses. The more we have the better chances that at least one will be normal and implant correctly!
