Hi Rachel,

I have to say that I've used OPKs for years and like them. I'm relatively new to temping, but wish I had really made the effort to do it before this, wonky schedules or not. I like seeing the change and knowing that AF is going to come. It makes it a little bit easier for me to take. :)

Have you ever used the SMEP plan?

What's the SMEP plan? I don't think I have heard of it.

i found using BBT and CBEFM worked really well. One told you you're about to O and the other confirmed when it had happened. OPKs work in the same way as CBEFM

Oh, yes, I heard about that on one of the boards and googled it. That is what I am planning on doing.

Awesome! And I agree with Leila... it is really good to use both, one to let you know that you are about to o and the other to confirm o, especially of you are going to be taking progesterone in the 2ww.

This cycle is the first I've used opk's and bbt. I feel like it's easy to get ocd about it. But I feel like I'm kind of ocd about ttc anyway. I like that I know when I o'd. And that I know we bd at the right time. I found out that I o'd a few days later than I thought, which can make all the difference. If you have a schedule that will allow you to bbt I would try it and see what you think.

Thanks for the info! I probably will get ocd, also, but it's worth a try!
