One juicy follicle, great IUI timing, bad sperm count again.

Chouli, I'm sorry about the count. I won't sugar coat it. I would be bummed about it too but it's still possible so don't completely shut down. I think a few cycles off would be good for you guys too if you can handle it. I always think I am okay with taking a cycle off until AF comes and goes and then I am itching to TTC and if that happens to you, don't be too hard on yourself about it. You do what feels right for you when it feels right to do it.

Thank you, Yes! We decided the a baby conceived on Christmas eve and potentially implanted on New Year's eve needs a good Eve name. Its also a nod to my 10 yrs in Louisiana. She would be Evangeline Marion G....

Chouli, I don't post a ton but I do lurk. I wanted to chime in to empathize about how frustrating that can be. But don't lose hope...on my BFP cycle, we only had just over 2 million and I thought for sure there was no way. But two weeks later, a BFP so I am living proof that it can happen!

If you don't get your miracle BFP this time though, we've had great results with FertilAid for Men and would definitely recommend it. My DH's count went from 5 million prewash to 14 million after 3 full months of him taking the supplements 3X/day (post wash IUI numbers went from 2.1 million to 8.7 million). His motility also increased from low 30s to 56%, and even the morph went up a little (though we still have room for improvement in that area).

Anyways, don't give up. It can happen! Good luck!

Chelle, the more I think about it, the more convinced I am that taking a RE break would be the right thing to do for us if this cycle is a bfn. I'm tired of the meds, bloating, procedures, etc. Taking a few months off would give DH a chance to be treated for his low sperm count by the urologist.
And, sounds strange to admit, but I think his diminishing SA is the universe telling me that IVF is what we need to do. Maybe its the universe getting us in line for our RE's MFIVF research study?
I'm not fully throwing in the towel this month, but I have to be a realist. That's just not enough sperm for one elusive follie. My girl's got evasive manuvers, I swear!

I love hearing stories of hope. I really cling to the idea that it CAN happen eventually.

I completely get it. I have felt that way a LOT of months and my tune always changes after AF comes and goes and I end up changing my mind no matter how hard I fight it. I hope you are stronger than I am, but even if you're not, I just wanted you to know that it's okay! I felt the same way after three injectables cycles. I would give anything to find those posts. I was tired of needles, u/s, follicle counts, IUI timing, sperm count - it's all SO exhausting. You know, my happy medium was to stop all the RE related stuff and just go back to OPK's and DTD. I have been doing that since May and only now thinking of trying another couple IUI cycles.

(((HUGS))) Chouli. I don't want to shoot rainbows up your butt but it does only take one. There is always a chance and I really, really hope this is it for you. I really don't know what the numbers mean so I can't help there. GL Chica. Hope you got your Christmas nookie in!
