Luteal Phase and Chart question (warning TMI)

So I think it was the 2WW post that I mentioned my uncharacteristic spotting that started on 4DPO.  Well it is now 9DPO and I am still spotting brown with some clots.  I have had some cramping.  Last night I go to the bathroom and there were some red blood drops into the toilet and when I wipe.  The red blood just happened that one time.  I am so confused about my body right now.  I am guess I will be getting my period soon...sooner than I am expecting by all these signs.  However my temps are still elevated.  Any thoughts?

My chart question is how in the world do I chart the red blood?  I want to put it under light for menses but if I do that then won't it kick me over to CD1 when it only happened once last night?  How would any of charters go about recording this?

Thanks in advance!

After my second miscarriage my body went so out of whack it was crazy! Prior to that miscarriage you literally could've set a clock by my cycles. Noon on Thursdays, 4 weeks apart. After that miscarriage my cycles were anywhere from 23 days to 43 days. Insane. After my third miscarriage they went closer back to normal, 28-29 days. Oh, and after my 2nd miscarriage I also started spotting before every af. When I started taking progesterone supplements in the 2ww the spotting stopped.

I'm on my phone, so can't tell if you're temping, but I honestly believe the combo of opks and temping helps the most.

Fx that you get your bfp soon!

I feel like every month is different and my body just hasn't figured out a new normal yet lol...it will get there.  Very frustrating!

Thanks for the advice.  Since that was the only time I saw the red blood I put down spotting and just made a note of it.  It just threw me for a loop when I saw it!  Definitely wasn't expecting it, but glad all spotting is gone now.

Hi there!

Spotting red blood is the same as spotting brown blood. I would still mark it as spotting until you actually have a real flow. It isn't considered CD1 until you have a flow, as in really need to wear a pad/use a tampon.

Good luck chica!
