So AF finally came today, yay, glad so I can move on, but I called to schedule my HSG today and I called 5 different centers and it took me over an hour to get an appt. Only one center in MD, DC and VA does this test, insane. So I go next week on Tues. I'm pissed cause I have to take off work cause it's at 1 pm and over and hour away from my house, so it wouldn't even be worthit for work. They said I need a blood pregnancy test before I can go. Yeah like I can get pg between now and tues of next week. So I wrote my OB an email asking about my referral and he said not until I get the HSG results and CD 3 b/w. I saw him last month on CD 3, p,us I know the IF clinic wd do this blood work, so now on Sat, I gotta drive an hour to the only lab that is open on a holiday that takes my insurance to get 5 million tests done, not happy about it at all. Why did he not do this sooner? It seems he is only getting serious now that I'm bugging him more. Ugggghhhhh, I just want a competent doc and a baby! I called to find out what tests he ordered and it's 13 tests, that freaks me out. I've already had so much b/w. This journey is wearing me out so much!!! Oh well, CD 1 again!

Ugh I am frustrated FOR YOU. But they can do a lot of testing with just a couple vials of blood so hopefully they won't need that much. Just take one step at a time and try to keep your eye on the prize. Think of it like this; every mile you drive gets you that much closer to the RE and some answers.

Yeah you're right. I keep thinking that. I finally found out some of what he's testing, besides hormone, stuff like sickle cell, HIV, and other diseases.

Wow, here's a big GRRRRR!! for you. That would really frustrate me. I agree with Michelle, each mile and test brings you closer to the RE and BFP...but it is totally agonizing at times, hence the Grrr.. Best of luck with the HSG. I had one before and my advice, if you want it, is to totally take the advil or whatever they say an hour before your test. I'll be thinking of you.
