NEED MAJOR HELP RIGHT THIS MINUTE!!!!

Sooo I need to give some of you background really quick... I POAS three times before AF was supposed to come and even after she was supposed to be here. CD15 there was a faint +, CD 16 it was a little bit lighter. CD17 started spotting and AF came. Went to the MW to get bloodwork and my Hgc was 4, chemical pregnancy. :(

Fast forward a week... I am on day 3 of Clomid and CD6. I took a HPT just to make sure it was negative and its a blazing +! WTH?!?!?!

Do I quit taking the clomid and blow this cycle *in case* it WASNT a chemical or do I just chalk it up to the chemical hanging around? I mean I was at 4 and its been a week! Really? Is the test still picking this up? Or is it going up?!

What do I do?!? I am going to pee again in the morning and if its + I am calling the MW right away for an ultrasound. If I am already pg and they didnt catch it or something, theeennnnnn CRAP! Clomid can really mess things up. What do I do?!

I mean I would rather play it safe than sorry, but at the same time, I dont want to miss out on a cycle... AHHHHH! Help? :)

What if I O'ed MUCH later and my OPK's and temp didnt reflect it? But then why the bleeding for the last 6 days? Its been weird bleeding, but if I knew I was pg then I would have been going to the ER many times with as much blood as I was passing...

What should I do?!

Carley, that is definitely all very unusual. It is possible that you O'd later than you thought, and just caught the pregnancy really early.... I dont know why the HCG levels would be rising if you were not in fact pregnant. I would POAS again in the morning with FMU and call your dr/midwife immediately to get checked out. Whatever is going on, it really does not seem normal, and is worth an office visit.

PS As for the Clomid, Im not sure about that, since Ive never taken it myself and I have no idea how it would affect you if you might be pregnant. But I guess taking it a few times cant really hurt, right?

Yes I take it at lunch time. So I have taken a total of 3 this cycle, with 2 more to go. If I can POAS early enough tomorrow then I MIGHT be able to get into the MW before lunchtime and figure things out before I take any more. But Now I feel horrible about taking the 3 I already did!!! I know that taking 3 wont do anything for my cycle if I stop here, but it still might hurt a baby if I am in fact pg. Goggle is great sometimes, but tonight, it has me feeling HORRIBLE!!!! :(

Wow Carley! I have no idea what advice to offer other than maybe picking up an HPT that only registers 100 ml hcg and see if it's positive. Weirder things have happened! Was your bleeding as heavy as a regular AF? FXed

Yes bleeding was as heavy as normal AF the only difference was I spotted before and now its tapering off into spotting again... Which I normally dont have, but I could blame that on post-MC-left-over-junk-from-june...

How do you know how much the tests pick up? I used a regular "up & up" Target brand one with blue dye. I didnt know it was blue when I bought it... the box didnt say :( I will test again in the am, but its the same kind of test, should I go get a diff one?

I would just wait until you talk to your MW in the am first thing before you take your pill tomorrow - it won't hurt if you put it off until the evening so at least by then, you'll have an answer from your midwife. I think IF you would be pg, that you should be okay - women take lots of stuff prior to even realizing they were pg. and they take things much worse than Clomid. I would STAY AWAY FROM GOOGLE for the rest of the night!!!! It just does horrible things to one crazy TTC woman's mind... DH forbids me from looking - little does he know I still do at work - ha ha..

GL sweetie - KUP on what the mw says okay - try and relax (easier said than done) and just wait to see what tomorrow brings. Sending positive thoughts and prayers!!

Hugs -

I have no idea what's going on, but I did notice that your temps are still way above coverline from your previous (continuing?) cycle..... Stupid question, are you POSITIVE you grabbed an HPT and not an opk?!?

The test wouldn't pick up from a 4 several days ago, unless it was still rising, normally or not would remain to be seen... I agree with your plan for the morning -- Pee, call the midwife, and get sorted out! As for tonight, all I can tell you is STEP AWAY FROM GOOGLE!!!! Hugs, Sweetie -- I know you're scared, freaked out, and hopeful right now. Nothing any of us can say will talk you off that particular ledge, but you just have to hang in there until tomorrow morning!

Can you attach a pic of the test? I'm really curious now.... By way of warning, Blue dye tests are notorious for false positives and errors that almost look positive. (As in, the color is there, but the line isn't quite in the right spot.) That is the same type of test that picked up Michelle's 3 beta, though, so if you've had any rise, even abnormal, it could potentially pick that up. (Please know, I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but with all the bleeding, you know that it's worrisome for a pg to begin with, so I'm just trying to give you the more plausible explanations.) (Please know, also, that I am crossing everything I can, as hard as I can, that you have a little miracle hanging in there!!!)

Haha well I am glad some of you hate google as much as me :)

So as I was originally typing this I was bawling crying and sniffling. DH comes over and says "What is wrong! What is wrong?!" So I told him "I think I might have really screwed something up! I might be pregnant already and if I am the Clomid will cause BIRTH DEFECTS and possibly kill the baby!" He asked me where I heard this and I said "GOOGLE! LOOK right here!" And then he proceeded to calmly tell me that google is not my best resource. And like you said, many women take things wayyy worse than clomid during pg... And I was still mad, but he had to go tend to DD so he walked away...

But after I read it on your post, it somehow set in... I am off the ledge for now. Only thing I can do is wait until the morning and pee again. My MW is not in the office tomorrow but the other one (there are 2 who work together) And she knows about my recent loss and about this last mess that we called a "chemical"... So hopefully she will be able to help and if not I have MW HOME number and I am not afraid to call it! LOL

So I stopped crying, and I can breath, for now...
