**Pregnancy mentioned**

Okay so when I was 19 I was diagnosed with PCOS. But the ob/gyn that diagnosed me said it was a "mild" case. I never really did much about it. I always had irregular cycles and I NEVER O'ed on my own. (They did blood work 2 times a month for 12 months to see if I O'ed on my own) So we used Clomid one cycle and it worked.

Fast forward to now. I MC June 2nd and it took almost 10 weeks to get my Hgc down. During all this (and the bi-weekly MW appts) I got to thinking, maybe the PCOS had something to do with this. Neither of my other pregnancies had any effect/affect? of the PCOS. They were perfectly fine. So I mentioned it to my MW and she said that she never noticed before or would have suspected it before... but she could run some tests to find out for sure (which the original doc never did)

So I have been doing research and was wondering, was I maybe mis-diagnosed? I dont have ANY of the symptoms of PCOS other than irregular cycles. I have no hair issues, no acne issues, and I am by no means over weight (5'4 110). My mom had no problem ever so I know its not genetic.

Is there something that might be similar to PCOS but have different symptoms? I cant find anything on webmd.com or by google-ing it. Any tips? I have now had 1 (possibly 2) cycles since MC where I again did not O :( We will go back to Clomid this next cycle if I dont get a miracle BFP...

I don't have a problem with extra hair or being overweight either. I don't have insulin resistence. I did have lots of acne as a teenager and as recently as 25 years old, but I've had it under control for a while now. I had polycystic ovaries on my ultrasounds and I didn't ovulate when we were TTC the first time. Clomid worked on our first try. The pregnancy with the twins reset me cause I ovulated most of the last year and a half. I had one anovulatory cycle last month but obviously I'm back to ovulating :)

Get your sugars tested and try metformin if you want. It doesn't hurt anything. You could also get an u/s to check your ovaries. It is still possible to ovulate with PCOS, but it does usually cause a lot of hormonal problems that delay or stop ovulation sometimes.

Hmm well this info does help. I have had cysts before, but they went away on their own and never came back. I have had ultrasounds done and they all came back looking "normal" but again, the doc said it was a "mild" case so maybe they couldn't tell on the u/s.

The MW is supposed to call me back this evening with my test results and I think I will ask about the Metaformin...

Thanks for your input ladies :) I just wish I knew what was going on with my body! As do we all :(
