Post-op appointment

Hi, ladies. This is my first post on the new iV:smileytongue: ! At my appointment today I didn't really learn anything new, except fot the number of polyps. The RE said yes, there was a septum and I had somewhere between 20 and 30 polyps in my uterus! Wow! Pathology on the ones he tested came back cancer-free, which is what was expected. Today is day 16 of 30 (or 60, waiting to hear back from the office) on estrogen. When I finish my estrogen I get to take provera for 10 days and then wait on AF. After that, I get to have another sonohystogram and see if the septum has been satisfactorily resected and if any polyps decided to hang around. After that? I'm not sure since it all depends on the imaging.

My big grr for the day is that I have a monster cold. Go away!!!!

Hope all is well for you and woo hoo for being able to post again!

Yeah!! The RE's office called back and I take the estrogen for 30 not 60 days!!! Woo hoo! OMG, I took a look at the pictures my RE gave me. My uterus looks so cluttered with all those polyps. Made me wish I had an internal housekeeper I could call and say, "Could you tidy things up a bit? Thanks" LOL.

Awesome! I am so glad that the surgery was a success and that you are only on the estrogen for 30 days. So then you can start TTC at the end of October, right?

Yippee!

Aryn,

I think we may be able to TTC, if all goes perfectly (FX), maybe in November. Here's the schedule:

now-10/20-- estrogen

10/21-10/30-- provera

10/31-?-- wait for AF, CD1 could be as late as 11/13

somewhere btwn CD6&11(I think)-- sonohystogram

Hopefully, the RE will give us the sonohystogram results that day and if all is well the coveted green light! The wild card in all this would be the poylps. If they don't go away on their own I may need another surgery. Time will tell. Though hey, so far so good!

Karen,

LOL, thanks for the virtual bowl! I went back to work today after 2 days off. I still sound terrible. As soon as I opened my mouth people backed away. Oh, too funny. Ha, ha...DH said yesterday as he was talking to me on his way home that it sounded like he had called the wrong hotline or something since my voice was so deep.
