I cant say if P is too low or not. It would be too low if you were 12 DPO & were pregnant. I know that much. Sorry.

Anything over 10 does mean you ovulated though at least from what I understand. Im not sure what the avg is right after O. I also dont know what your level should be 'normally' if you're not pregnant post O.

When I got rx'd Progesterone, I showed them 6+m of charts with no LP over 12 days & the last 3 cycles it was 9 or 10 days. They tested my thyroid & something else that day but never did a P level check during a 'reg' cycle. I only got P tested again with 1st m/c & it was only 17 @ 12 DPO & they said they like it over 20. At least I think those were the numbers.

All this TTC stuff is blending together.

I really don't know anything about the levels.... But hugs -- I do get the not knowing where you are or what it means.... And that really sucks. :( Sorry for the implied bfn, too. :'(

With my last PG I switched OB's at 6 weeks cuz I just didn't feel right. New one was concerned that they hadn't checked p because my previous two losses were btw 9 and10 weeks. At just past 7 weeks it was only 16. He gave me rx and said that I should still be OK because if you're gonna mc due to low p that it will happen around 9-10 weeks because that's when the placenta takes over. He said that if it's below 20 at that time that you will likely mc. I started it just after 7 weeks and my baby was fine until 35 weeks when I got pre-e.

Just wanted to let you know in case you're pg don't want you to have extra worry. He did say though that if it's low they like you to start taking it as soon as possible.

Not sure if this helps... but I had my progesterone level drawn this month, in preparation to start with an RE, and my level was 9.9 on CD 22, so I would have been about 8 DPO. The OB said the level was normal and it appeared I ovulated adequately... and I guess I did, but at the time I thought it was low from what I'd read. All the best to you.

I am still thinking you *may* have ovulated on CD 25 or 26. I know that isn't what you really wanted to hear, but it's not out of the realm of possibility since this is your first cycle after your most recent m/c right? I would be hopeful at this point if you did O on CD25. That would be relatively close to your last BD and still too early to pick up on your blood test 3-4 days later.

Thanks for all of the help and advice.

This is what I KNOW:

IF I ovulated on cd17, which it appears I did NOT, I am not pregnant.

IF I ovulated on cd20, I may still have a shot based on Bonnie's experience, however my BDing schedule isn't the greatest for that day.

IF I ovulated on cd26, I may still have a shot however, again, my BDing schedule could be better. (Could my progesterone still be 10.8 at only 4dpo though??)

My temp has started to fall so.....assuming it keeps on going, AF should be here soon. If not, I will change my O date yet again to cd26 and then start my 2ww for the THIRD TIME!!!!!!!!!

Teresa,

You know I feel like sometimes we're kindred spirits because of all the nonsense you and I have been through for so many years. :)

I don't think you have to worry about a Progesterone definciancy. At least not based on your latest blood work. Number one because although on the low range, it is not THAT low. Number two because 12 DPO is way to late to be testing for adequate Progesterone levels. That is why if they are checking Progesterone, they like to test it at 7 DPO when it would likely be it's highest. Like you said, if you are not pg, by the time 12 DPO comes around, your Progesterone is already on it's way back down and AF is on it's way.

With that said, I think a BFP is possible this cycle but probably not likely. But the good news is, that I don't think you need to worry about your Progesterone levels just yet either!

Michelle, yes, indeed we are kindred spirits...ha!

The thing about my progesterone check is this....On Friday, I wasn't sure if I had ovulated or not since I was getting so many mixed signals from FF.

Ohhhhhhhhhh I see, okay. That makes sense. So you don't know whether you JUST O'd and caught it on it's way up or if you O'd two weeks ago and caught it on it’s way down. Well, that's just CRAPPY! LOL That must make you wanna just scream. I hate limbo. I can take NO but I don't know is hard for me to handle.
