Well, tomorrow will be here before you know it. I really hope it's not going to be a big thing. I'll let you know how it went. My appointment is before lunch. I'm thinking of treating myself to lunch after as a reward for being a big girl =if I don't freak out. DH is not going with me, in case anyone was wondering.

I hope to know by the end of the week when I'll be having surgery.

Thanks, ladies. I hope things are well with you.

Lydia

Lydia - I hope it goes well and you are able to get the surgery scheduled soon.

It's really not bad. I didn't have a negative experience with it before or after surgery. Try not to be too nervous, but still treat yourself to lunch ;)

Keep us posted as to how it turns out. I'll be thinkin of ya.

Thanks for your good wishes.

I'm home now, and wow, I think my uterus swore! I did cramp tons and then the RE said "they're going to get worse now"...but they didn't! I did take an extra strength tylenol beforehand. I'd say this is right up there with the HSG I had as far as cramping goes. At least I was able to put my hands on my tummy and press, seemed to help the cramping a little.

The RE said my uterus wasn't filling very well and she had to put in more saline and readjust the catheter. She thinks this was d/t the catheter being on one side of the septum. Ugh, so it took a bit longer..still under 20-25 minutes I'd say from the time she inserted the speculum.

She did say it looked like a large septum and surgery will totally decrease my m/c odds. This RE isn't the one I started with as he is on vacation for 2 weeks. I will meet with him in 2 weeks and then after that they will schedule the surgery. I thought they were going to do that today (that's what they said on the phone) but no, they will wait until I meet with him. Bummer.

I'm so glad that is done!
