Kelly, mom to 4 year old Lexi, wife to Rob TTC Number 2 since April 2010, with a loss in June 2010 at 4.5 weeks, and a loss in April 2011 at 8 weeks (possibly ectopic). Saw the RE in May 2011, we were moving forward with testing and an IUI when we

check if there is a community place in your area.

kelly, its usually about $50 or maybe less if you earn over 50k or something. depending on how pricey the reg. place is it still might be cheaper. if you end up going for awhile.

I need to get me some seeds!!!

Does she put them in different spots on your ear?

I try & remember to do acupressure on my ears but I usually forget.

lol now you guys are making me nervous with all this talk about where they put the needles!!!! and I still have a week until the appointment! ha!

Thanks Mindy re the info on community places, but I think I am going to try this woman first - she does specialize in fertility issues, which is good, I think.

Yep - it's a little black round "seed" that is on the back of a square of adhesive tape. She'll put them in the opposite ear that she needles and they stay on for like 4/5 days. She rotates each ear - when they are on my right side, people will look at me very strangly because that's usually the ear I tuck my hair behind and you can see them... They always think I had some kind of strange surgery to my ear...

Here's a picture of what they kind of look like...

Ive never heard of acupressure seeds? Is that something you have all the time or just during treatment? Or does that just mean you push on parts of your ear & there is nothing tangible called a seed?
Yes, the cat whiskers did work wonders at least while they were in.
I do think someone who specializes in fert. is best.
I love the smell of moxa :) I only get it sometimes.
