Gosh I feel like I have so much to type and I don't know where to begin! Brace yourself, this might get long and I totally get it if you bail half way through it. A lot of the reason

Thanks guys :) I go back and forth between being excited about it and feeling like an idiot for doing this all over again. I hope it works out for me.

I don't know how I missed this post for so long. Just found it this morning as I sit here watchin the snow come down and bury us.

Wow, all in all that's great news! I'm so glad your RE is williing to do the IUI's, and that your husband's insurance will cover two of them (I won't get into my rant about insurance companies :smileyhappy:).

It sounds like your gut feeling about your lining being the cause of your m/c could be right on the button. I wish doctors would give more credit to our instincts. The fact that he brought up the Estrace himself, and will give

Michelle - I don't think anyone here thinks you are crazy...I am so happy that your RE explained (and the website too) a bit more about your symptoms with PCOS.

Thanks so much, girls. I know no one will admit it but I know there have to be some of you out there who think I am crazy for continuing to do this to myself. But I don't know what else to do right now. I can't do IVF for a couple more years. Even if I managed to save this $3000.00 I am going to spend, would I be able to get IVF then? Uhhh no. That's like saying, boy they wouldn't be losing their house if they didn't have cable KWIM? So my choice is either to try on our own for the next two years or give IUI's a go with the little bit of money I *do* have.

Wowee, Chelle! Sounds like maybe you got some answers that you never had before....that's awesome. I soooooo hope that the new meds and an increase in the Metformin clinches it for you.

I so KWYM about being scared about losing another baby...but you're right, nothing worth having comes without heartache. Let's just hope there is no heartache

Megan, I would be surprised if your RE hasn't ruled PCOS out yet because it is such a commin diagnosis but if you get a lot of "almost +" OPK's your FSH has to be elevated to some degree! I would call and speak to nurse. Ask her to look at your chart and see if they've ruled it out!
