Gosh I feel like I have so much to type and I don't know where to begin! Brace yourself, this might get long and I totally get it if you bail half way through it. A lot of the reason

Well, you asked a medical question, so I have to throw my answer out there!

I fully agree about your possibly having increased LH levels based on your constant "almost positive" OPKs.

Aubre, all of that makes PERFECT sense and the fact that all the docs believe it lowers m/c rates so much gives me a lot of hope too although I still can't shake the feeling it was my crappy lining that caused my losses. But according to some of the research I read, PCOS can effect the lining too so here's to hoping the Metformin helps with all that. My testosterone is borderline high, my LH is consistently high and my ovaries are extremely polycystic. I think that leaves little doubt to a PCOS diagnosis.

Megan, I would be surprised if your RE hasn't ruled PCOS out yet because it is such a commin diagnosis but if you get a lot of "almost +" OPK's your FSH has to be elevated to some degree! I would call and speak to nurse. Ask her to look at your chart and see if they've ruled it out!

Wowee, Chelle! Sounds like maybe you got some answers that you never had before....that's awesome. I soooooo hope that the new meds and an increase in the Metformin clinches it for you.

I so KWYM about being scared about losing another baby...but you're right, nothing worth having comes without heartache. Let's just hope there is no heartache

Thanks so much, girls. I know no one will admit it but I know there have to be some of you out there who think I am crazy for continuing to do this to myself. But I don't know what else to do right now. I can't do IVF for a couple more years. Even if I managed to save this $3000.00 I am going to spend, would I be able to get IVF then? Uhhh no. That's like saying, boy they wouldn't be losing their house if they didn't have cable KWIM? So my choice is either to try on our own for the next two years or give IUI's a go with the little bit of money I *do* have.
