Hey guys! We are doing great. maren is 7 months old today, if you can believe that. Seems like i was pregnant with her yesterday. What an amazing trip. She is a happy fat angel. We arent sleeping much at night these days. I am not sure why that is. . . She was only up once a night to nurse when she was small. At about 4 months she started waking more and more frequently. Sigh. She wants to nurse all night now, like her big sister did. Last nightbwas only twice, but it turns out my hubby was up with her pretty much straight from 1 to 4. I got some sleep:) anyway. Despite all that, she is so happy and an absolute joy to have around. We are strting solids slowly. Girl wants to eat, but her digestive tract isnt as happy about it. She is also trying to get her bottom two teeth in. Sitting up and starting to crawl. No rest for momma!

Hey Amanda,

7 months, wow, seriously? It doesn't seem like it was that long ago....What fun!

Well, I'm holding my 3 week old as I'm typing. I'm going to try to write a birth story next...we'll see. Baby boy is easy as pie-I know that can still change,

Amanda you are scaring me!!!! lol - Elodie sleeps so well at night right now - usually goes down at around 9:30/10pm. and rarely wants to nurse again until maybe 4 pm or so and then back to sleep for a few more hours before nursing again and sleep again.....love that first stretch soooo much :) She is a terrible napper unless I am holding her - but I do hold her as much as possible so that is okay by me. We cosleep too. I do notice some little teeth in there ready to come in soon so who knows what is to come. She is awesome - so happy and sweet and what a gorgeous smile that lights up her whole face. She is trying to sit up and roll over and talk. Her brothers adore her and our transition to 3 has been overall pretty easy. I keep hoping DH might change his mind and hope for one more ;) Hey - a girl can keep dreaming right!?
Big hugs, Jasmine

p.s. I still love your girl's name so much - have dreams of stealing it if another girly came into our world - at least as a middle name if that's okay!

Oh the teeth! maren started drooling and whatnot so early and still not one tooth! I hope it is easy for you and continues to be. Mine wuldnt nap unless being held most of the time. I can finally jurse her sidelie and then leave now, but still she sleeps 30 mins in the morning and maybe an hour in the afternoon. Plus, Talia cant be quiet to save her life, so that doesnt help!!

How is cosleeping going? We are in trouble bc Talia still isnt ready to move to her own bed. I am glad she weaned, but i do wonder if it was best in hindsight. I might have preferred her nursing, but sleeping in her own bed. I cant have two kids in my queen bed, there isnt room!

Hi everyone! I haven't been by in a long time, so sorry! Its great to catch up on how you all are doing! I sympathize with the night time situations. I had every kind with Naomi, now she's 2 1/2 and after coming and going from sleeping in her bed she's stuck again in ours. We even bought a king size just so I could get some sleep until I figure out how I'm gonna get her in her own bed again, yikes! I only have 7 weeks left too, and I'm finding the physical limitation to be the main thing getting in my way...

Anyway, so I'm 33 weeks and this is another GIRL! I never changed my ticker lol I'm due around the 27th of next month. We are naming her Ariel (R-E-L) Glenn, glenn after he daddy's mn.

The cosleeping is going great fortunately. I am lucky though as my boys share a queen size bed and most nights stay there all night long. We moved DS #1 when he was 2 1/2 years old and Emmett arrived, but shortly after that, moved him back in as DH was going away for months and I couldn't cope. That evolved into a big family bed until he was well over 3 1/2 years old....it was actually lovely but we did have a king size bed lol. DS #2 was in our bed for about the same - 2 1/2 years before we put him with his brother.....and honestly, I kept bed hopping between sleeping with them and DH until Elodie was born. I really miss snuggling in between my boys. Some nights, one or them or both show up by my bedside and climb in...but not always. It is a tough transition but it does smooth out eventually and I wouldn't have done it differently for anything. As I said, I sometimes feel sad that we don't so much anymore and need more snuggles in the a.m. to make up for it :) I can't get enough of our baby girl at night - she smells so sweet and I love cuddling her sweet self and waking up to those big eyes and smiles. Can you tell I am crazy in love? lol...
I had to beg Dh to get us a king size bed before #2 came along....it was a lifesaver as I hear you about the Queen being to small for everyone......Dh used to complain about his 2 inches of bed space every night - poor guy.
So wouldn't you know it but I put my hand in little girl's mouth tonight and yup, I can feel the little razor teeth already coming in on the bottom!!!! She is 4 months old as of yesterday...time needs to slow the heck down.

It's so nice to hear about the babies and what they're up to. Roan is 8 months already. It's going so fast. I need to size up his clothes and diapers again! He has one partial tooth and working on two more for a few weeks now. He hasn't been horribly fussy thankfully. He's still STTN but I'm scared that will change since it seems we have been super lucky in that department so far.

He's standing for about two seconds on his own, cruising, climbing down off the couch on his own. Just figured out the jumparoo we got him last week and loves that. Loves playing with his big sister and brother. Loves feeding himself, eats a ton!

I think I am done tandem nursing. DD really isn't asking anymore. I have been having strong O symptoms this week. Seems so early for that!
