My nursling is Tommy, he is 18 mos. old. He basically just has me for a pacifier! LOL He comfort nurses 2-3 times a day, but at least he is finally sleeping through the night. It took us five years TTC to conceive him, and I am soooo not enjoying this TTC journey again...

You know its funny, i've never herad the term "nursling" before.. I like it though! Brandy is about 14 months old. My first daughter weaned herself at 8 months, and I expected Brandy to be the same way... silly me! I have cut out all her nursings except for her daily nap and her bedtime. Its obviously only for comfort now, but I think she will wean herself when shes ready. And it may not be long, as she walks around drinking from a cup all day now as it is! When its time to stop I will be both happy and sad about it... but for now I will just enjoy our "cuddle sessions" while I still have them :)

my little one is Xander and is 8mths. we are TTc our next bub but am not sure how we will go due to the fact that he is still nursing, he only likes it through the night and early morning now, there is too much going on during the day and he is distracted, but I don't think either of us is ready to give up our nightly feed and snuggle time. Here's hoping it happens soon
