Hey Grads,

Let us know how you are doing this month!

I'm 40 weeks and DD hasn't nursed at all in about 2 weeks.

Oh my goodness, Amanda!! You must be on pins & needles right now!! I can't wait to hear your announcement!!!

And there's really no telling how your DD will react when she sees the new baby nursing.

I weaned my 2 yr old about a month into this pregnancy, and he is still pretty attached to them even though he doesn't physically nurse. As soon as I pick him up, the first thing he does is shove his hand down my shirt to just hold on to the "bites". :) I've been trying to prepare him that the baby will eat "bites" when s/he is here, but he doesn't seem to get it. LOL

As for me... I am 31 weeks, and I will deliver at 39 wks, at the lastest--so less than 8 wks to go!!!

We are doing good, I'm just getting into the uncomfortable part, and the anxiety is rising each day. We've got so much planned in these next couple of months that hopefully it will go by quickly!! I'm so ready to hold this baby, and finally find out "who" it is!!! :)

I am SOOOOO ready to finally know!!! :)

It's weird that sometimes it hasn't really hit me that I will be having another baby soon, but then other times it still seems so far away!!

The one thing I know is YOU seriously don't have much more to go. You very well could be holding your new little one as I'm typing this!!! Come on, baby!!! And EASY LABOR VIBES for you too!!!

Hi all, im here to give my January update - not been on here in ages, its all changed!

Everything has been fine with this pregnancy - no gestational diabetes, no high blood pressure, even been planning a home birth. Before Christmas I was really uncomfortable, braxton hicks have been really bad this time, and had 2 incidents of bleeding but apparently im the picture of health.

Anyway im 28+1 (due April 5th 2011) and saw the consultant yesterday for and ultrasound. Unfortunately it would seem that despite having a lovely big bump, baby is measuring small for dates (under the 10th centile) and is not following a curve on my growth chart. So the home birth plan is out the window :( and iv got more scans over the next 3 weeks to determine if baby is growing at a steady rate and to check blood flow through the placenta.

The wierd thing is I feel fine at the moment so it was a bit of a shock to find out that baby isnt doing so well. The plan now is if the baby is showing slow growth I'll have to have steroid injections to mature the babies lungs incase baby comes early. I think they will try get me to 36/37 weeks and then induce labour.

No fantastic news but at least we are being looked after. Now iv got to go read this board cos im so out of touch! xxx

I went through something very similar with my youngest (she is almost one now!). She fell off the growth curve and was measuring small for dates. They check blood flow etc and sent me to a perinatologist every other week. Then around the 34th week its like she just decided to grow and was born at 39weeks at a healthy 7lbs 3 oz and 18 in! Goodluck!
