Okay so I know it was posted above but I couldn't wait to post in the "grad corner"! I just got back from the dr's office where they confirmed via a blood test that I was pregnant and my due date is estimated as August 25, 2009!!! Thank you guys for your support and good wishes. I send baby dust to you all,
Laura

25!!! Good day!! I'm so excited for you!! Do you have any symptoms right now? Gonna find out the sex or no? Plans for the birth? Have you told DH, friends, family members? How exciting to be able to tell them during Christmas! Well, don't forget to update us with everything!
Congrats again!

Hey Laura :) COngrats again and yay for posting in the Grad corner - a dream we all have too!!! My DS#2 was born on a lovely sunny day on August 25, 2007 - his birth took just over 2 hours from start to finish - I hope the same for you!!!!

Good luck and wow, I was just re reading your post that your husband is leaving for 7 months in January - you must be SOOOOOO Happy to have got your BFP just in time - that is awesome amazing stuff :) And he will be home just in time for baby to be born!!!

Stay in touch,
Jasmine

Thank you girls and Jasmine, you are so right that I am so relieved. Now the only problem is they are saying he may not be back in time for the birth but one thing at a time, I say. I am very excited and wishing the same for all of you. August 25 sounds like a great day to be born and a 2 hour labor sounds heavenly!!! I see why you want to have more kids with a labor and delivery like that!

I did tell DH immediately and he's the one that told me to go to the dr to find out for sure (again how intelligent do you have to be to pee on a stick? but I humored him!). As for our parents, we are visiting them 2 days after Christmas and I think we will either get off the plane with my DS wearing an "I'm going to be a big brother shirt" (any suggestions?) or we are going to wrap it up in a gift box and make my mom and dad open it together. Today is my dad's bday and I really thought it would be fun to tell him today but would rather do it in person than over the phone! DS has basically stopped nursing. He did nurse this morning bc we both have colds and I'm fine with nursing him as long as he wants but I am thinking this is going to be short lived. I haven't had any real symptoms yet except for mild cramping and stretching feelings (jeez, already? I think I'm going to be big as a house this time, unlike last time!). Did you guys show way earlier for your 2nd pg? Other than that things are great and I'm really hoping to have a VBAC come August! I will keep checking in and cheering for all of you.

p.s. forgot to answer all the questions! We aren't going to find out the sex again bc I love the surprise plus it keeps people off my back for names ;) and I didn't really want to tell anyone (besides family)until I was around 3 months BUT I will be home with all my friends over New Year's so I'm not thinking I'm going to be able to hide it!!!

Hey everyone, I had a really sad New Year's Eve. I ended up having a miscarriage and am still upset about it. It was so very sudden and I was only 7 weeks along but it is still so sad and disappointing. I just wanted to let everyone know and hopefully I will be back on here in 7 months or so when DH gets back and hopefully with some good news. Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts and great feedback and I really wish you all the best. I hope to lurk on here and see many more BFPs!!!

Oh Laura .....no no no no no!!!!!!! :( Big hugs and I AM SO VERY SORRY for your loss - you must feel so sad. I was shocked to read your post and am extra disappointed for you as I know your DH is now out of town now. If you need to vent, and cry, and share please stay here and do it with us. I am here to listen anytime. I hope you have some very good support at home to help you through this and I really look forward to seeing you back trying for another BFP when DH is home.

Take care and more hugs,
Jasmine

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know it can be horribly disappointing no matter how far along you were.

I am soo sorry to hear what happened. I know it's got to be doubly hard with DH away. Let us know if there's anything we can do...and those 7 months will hopefully go by fast. Don't lurk btw, you've got good insight, post away girl!
