7 Months and still nothing....

Hello to all the TTC Ladies! I know I am never on here. So can't keep up with all the boards I am on. But I am looking for some help/advice/support.

Some background: My cycles have been consistently about 26 days. I talked with my midwife back in early february and she was thinking that I O on day 12 or 13, but I was thinking more 16 to 19. So I got out the OPK's and started doing those the day after AF left. (This past cycle she was here for 8 days - which seemed long). I got 3 + tests on CD16-18. DH and I DTD on CD11, CD14-CD17. Honestly I think I O'd on CD16 or 17, so there is a high chance that we are pregnant and I still don't have AF, but I am starting to spot. I am on CD27 and I really think that she will be here tomorrow. This is how it always happens.

My question is that do I need to wean my little girl. She is 18.5 months old and nurses about 2x a day during the week (once in the morning and once before going to bed) and then 3 to 4x a day on the weekends. I am trying to get her down to just 2x a day on the weekends, but it doesn't usually work, so I just let her nurse when she wants to. My midwife said that if I am not pregnant and it's frustrating me to wean, but I don't know if I am ready or if she is ready and honestly I wanted to tandem nurse her and #2.

anyway I might be jumping the gun. I know it's not over until AF shows and technically she isn't here yet. I am tracking my CM and taking Prenatals and B6 daily. But I am not temping, so next month I might have to start that back up again and get a true basal thermometer...anyway advice/support would be great.

TIA!

Thanks Jasmine. I totally plan on continuing to still nurse. It was amazing I have to say that I got the BFP yesterday. I am going to test again just to make sure but I am 99% sure now that I am pregnant. We will see if she starts to self wean or not. I haven't decided if I am going to tandem nurse or not but we will see how the next few months go.

Thanks for the support. I guess the B6 that I started taking helped :)

I would love to know how your pregnancy progresses and if you continue to nurse so please keep us updated! I just answered a post above about nursing while pregnant so maybe you two could talk and share your experience too :) Wow - what a nice way to end my night!
