Bawling my eyes out...

I've been crying all day... no particular reason, but also every reason!!!!

I think it is my hormones. I hope it is, I mean, I can't explain the sudden depression I seem to be in any other way. DD has all of a sudden almost stopped nursing. She even told me "No" when I asked her if she wanted to nurse! I am a blubbering mess, and DH doesn't really know what to say/do.

I just needed a place to vent. I can't turn off the tears, and I am just so thoroughly sad.

It will hopefully only last a day or two and then you will feel your hormones level out. In looking at your chart I would say you are about to ovulate (sorry I do not think you already Oed). I know I get super emotional...almost like bad PMS right before I ovulate - it seems that breastfeeding heightens this for me and it usually only happens when I have a truly good O coming! I would take it as a good sign that your body is gearing up to O and that it is starting to get back into the game:) If you can get in some time with your hubby....it may lead to a big smile in a couple weeks:)

I do have to say hormones suck and they can't be turn off or controlled....just something we women have to deal with!

Oh Hugs Alyssa :) Don't cry! Okay well cry because you can't help it today and sometimes it is better just to have that time to feel sorry for yourself and emotional and sad and get it all out. I had plenty of those days during the TTC process and I think once you get through that time, you come out feeling exhausted but also with new hope and ready to keep forging ahead.

It is likely that your body is just sorting itself out and wow, we all know what the hormonal shifts can do to us. Go have a warm bath and read a trashy magazine and have a cup of tea or wine - oh and some chocolate too!

Feel better :)

Thanks, Lindsay! I know I haven't O'd yet. I really appreciate you sharing your experiences, too.

I like that idea - I am going to see if I can get a sitter and go out on a date with DH.

Thanks again!

Alyssa,

Big big hugs. I usually get one horrible day where I just feel so crazy desperately sad, right before I o, but only if it's a good o these days. At first, when my body was regulating, it would last for a few days. Hopefully that's what it is, but either way, I'm sorry you're having such an awful day.

<> These LO's make these decisions unilaterally, it's not fair. You wouldn't do that to her! (just trying to make you smile)

You guys are so sweet!

DH and I had a great date tonight, and I definitely had a much better day today - only a few moments of tears.

I certainly hope it means that a big O is coming! DD even went back to her nap nursing today. :)

Thanks again, you are wonderful!
