Hey Kristie :) I totally think you should buy one if you can find one on ebay. If I get pregnant this month I might even give you mine from the utter joy of it all!!!!!! I bought mine off of ebay when TTC#2 4 years ago....it was great as I used it before getting PPAF - they tell you you can't but I just set it on Day one, started testing when it asked me to, and kept testing until it seemed like I should get AF if all things were normal - started all over again if that makes any sense. It is very expensive to buy the test sticks so if you can get some on Ebay too I highly recommend it.....
I have in past used OPK's at the same time - the monitor tells you low, high, peak fertility but you can tell from the OPK's better when your surge is starting and peaking and going down.....they are nice and cheap to buy online.

HTH - will let you know when I get my BFP and don't need that monitor anymore :-)

I love mine ! I bought mine when I was ttc my first. I got mine in June of 2008 and I was pg in Aug of 2008 using it. It really is so simple to use and takes the guess work out and the confusion over opks of whether or not it is positive or not quite poitive yet. I bought mine on ebay for about $150 and I buy the test sticks on ebay as well. I would advise trying to buy one new as resetting them is very difficult and they save cycle information. The first 2 cycles are typically test cycles requiring alot of test sticks but the following cycles don't use as many because the monitor has learned your general cycle patterns. Good luck !
