Coming out of the shadows

So my ladies-

So I have stopped visiting this board as of late because I just couldn't take all the BFPs. IDK. It was a stab to the heart. I was thinking why is my kid almost two and I still cannot get pregnant? However, JASMINE, I am so incredibly super happy for you! You waited so long. I'm so glad you finally got that BFP!!! ((((HUGS))))

As for me, my doc did three cycles of Procheive progesterone gel and my LPs went from 3 days to 18, 17 and 15. But no pregnancy. Beautiful charts and temps, but nothing. I wasn't really surprised.

This cycle, throw Clomid 100mg into the mix and I ovulated the earliest I ever have to my knowledge!!!! CD 13! Last 2 cycles it was CD 18 and before that the days varied between 15-19. But that is 5 days earlier than my last 2 cycles! I was really surprised!

So, not that I think I'm pregnant or anything I am just trying not to let this infertility thing beat me. It will happen to me. I need to learn more patience or something.

I see a lot of new faces and I bid you all welcome to the board. I still can't get this kid off the boob, even at 21 months. It's time but I just cannot stand to break her heart.

Anyway, I hope everyone is well and I will try to be around more - had some major family problems there for awhile and I was super down and I couldn't think straight even. I'm doing better now and hoping Clomid will help me.

4 dpo today, got a nice high temp today. If no BFP this cycle, then bloodwork but no HSG yet to be done and an SA for DH. Hoping it doesn't come to that but if it does, it does.

Nice to see how many of you gals have graduated. I hardly know anyone anymore!

*baby dust* to all

Hi Heather :) Thank you so much for your sweet message for me :) I do know how hard it is to be around here and watch everyone else getting that BFP when you are desperate for it. If it helps even the tiniest bit, my little guy just turned 3 this week and the BFP now is just as sweet as it was when our first son was 22 months old..... The day before I got our exciting results, I was resigned that it would not happen as was mentally selling all of our baby stuff. I am very confident for you that your dreams will come true - either with help or not. I hope clomid does the trick for you. If you have any questions about any other fertility tests etc., please let me know - I feel very educated in this department now!

Again, I am so sorry you have been struggling and am glad you pop up to say hi now and then. Hopefully your family stuff has settled down and can focus on happier times.

Big hugs Heather - we have missed you !

Yay for things moving in the right direction with a nice early O and super long LP. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that your journey away from infertility stops here and you get your BFP this cycle!

Dee- I was on 50mg two cycles (first time it worked, second time it didn't). I didn't have any side effects... maybe a little moodiness and CM dry up if I remember..... but I was also already super frustrated with my infertility so hard to say what was causing what if ya know what I mean. :) It wasn't until I was on 100mg and then 150mg that I started having every side effect in the book!! So hopefully 50mg won't bother you too much!

I am glad to see you back....happy you are feeling a bit better.

Is this the first time you tried Clomid? I am starting 50 mg. tomorrow and am quite frankly scared after reading all the side effect horror stories. How did/do you feel on it?

Hope this is your month, my dear. And don't feel bad about nursing your that age, it's not likely that nursing is causing the problem, anyway. I know there are some that have to wean to get pregnant, but that's rare. I've been nursing and/or pg. for the last 15 I've always conceived while breastfeeding.

Good luck to you. Hugs,
