I have a pregnancy BTDT question. Does anybody else get headaches when your hormones start going crazy in teh beginning?

With all 3 of my pregnancies I got headaches very early on and then none for almost the rest of time thank goodness! Be sure to eat as much as you can, lots of water, and rest when possible - difficult with a little one already I know. Also take Tylenol at the moment you feel it coming on to stop it from getting worse. I am prone to horrendous migraines and cant take advil of course when pregnant.....I don' t miss alcohol or much else when I am preggo but oh am I happy when baby is born and advil is back on the list! I know some people are scared to take anything when pregnant - I am more scared of my headaches and inability to function. As for spotting, I never got that thankfully but have read so many times that if it is brown not to worry - it is bright red that could indicate a problem.
Hang in there mama and come on down off the ledge :)

Just wanted to send you some (((HUGS)) Autumn, that can be so nervewracking. I never had headaches in pregnancy, but have heard that others do. Try to hang in there, sending you lots of P&PTs.

Bette, thank you for asking! Still nauseous and kinda tired, but the headaches have gotten better and now I just feel like I'm pregnant which is to be expected so I'm not complaining. I'm not spotting anymore either so that's good. Hoping the first trimester goes quick. With DS#1, I wanted everything to go slower so I had time to get stuff ready, and now that we have everything already I just want to go give birth and meet the little person! LOL

Headaches were actually one of the first indications I had that I *might* be pregnant. I rarely get headaches and when I had a dull headache for several days in a row I started to wonder. A few days later I had a positive pregnancy test to confirm it! I don't remember how long the headaches lasted, but I remember they lasted awhile. I would say it's just a sign of your body adjusting to pregnancy hormones.
