First +OPK since first PPAF

I don't want to get my hopes up too much but the only other time I had a +OPK it resulted in DS. I'm just delighted my body is finally getting into gear almost 16 months PP. A BFP would be a lovely Valentine's present. At the weekend I started a batch of homebrew beer. I so hope I won't get to taste it!

Good luck! Those + OPK's are almost as exciting as those other + pee tests we all like so much :)
You can send the beer my way if you have no use for it!

This is my chart. Looks like I Oed alright and BDed about the right time. I feel a bit different but I suspect this is my first PP O so that's probably all it is. Too early to feel anything significant. Tingly nipples and a warm fuzzy feeling / goose bumpy all over. I also have stretchy sensations inside.

You're welcome to come by for some beer Jasmine! Sweden is a great holiday destination. Especially if you like pickled herring and beetroots. OK, so the food isn't great but everything else makes up for it. Sweden is very BF friendly. All babies BF. I'm actually from Ireland, the lowest BF rate in the world I believe. My friends and family think I am weird BFing a toddler esp since I'm ttc.

My DH's family is all Irish and yeah, they think I am a bit of a freak lol! Actually my inlaws are wonderful and now that they are used to it, my MIL likes to kind of brag to people how long I BF for and she is always sending me articles about how brilliant our children will be due to BF. She has become a huge convert to the idea :) I remember when I was pregnant with #2, one of DH's cousins kept on and on about how I was depriving the baby of nutrients by nursing by toddler.
Yay for the big O.....hope the next 2 weeks prove to be +!!!!!

Thanks ladies. My Mum also brags a bit about my BF. When my eldest sister was born the midwife/nurse told my Mum "women like you can't breastfeed" so my poor Mum never tried. What a terrible thing to say to a new first time mum. That's happened in London. I'm so happy I had the time to research and read about BF before DS arrived. Otherwise I never would have got past a couple of months. About six weeks PP I ended up with an awful problem in one breast. The whole upper part of my right boob got plugged up. It was so painful. My nipple was like stone and DS couldn't get it in his mouth. I saw a lactation consultant and had to go for an ultrasound etc.. They found a series of cysts which had to be drained. It wasn't BF related, it just impacted on nursing. My right boob was out of action for about six weeks but I pumped it every couple of hours. My left boob became "super-boob" and it still does most of the work! I'm lobsided. I wonder if I'll ever be balanced again. I'd love to go back to my 34Cs some day but I doubt tht will happen. When things started going wrong for me the advice from everyone back home in Ireland was to wean. That of course would have made things worse. From about 12 weeks PP DS was able to latch onto my mini boob again. It has about 25% supply of the other one but we've kept it going. DS was EBF until we introduced solids at six months. He has always been at the top of his growth chart so it can be done with just one boob. I hope if we have another baby that with a little coaxing my mini boob will catch up with my super boob. I don't expect I'll ever find anyone's who's been through a similar experience so I'll just have to wait and see. My +OPK was on CD22, just like Nat's. Perhap's that's a lucky day! I'm only 4dpo but already I'm tempted to POAS. But I know it's pointless at this stage. I'll just have to sit it out a bit longer. On the one hand it's relaxing to know we've done all we can this cycle, on the other hand, the wondering drives me crazy. If AF must come this cycle I just hope I have a good LP.

The body is totally amazing how it compensates and makes sure baby always gets everything he/she needs.

Good luck this cycle. A friend of mine who is going through IVF said when they did the transfer the Dr told her "Pregnant until proven otherwise." :) Like you said, you've done everything you can and it will be what it will be no matter what now. Enjoy the time! It all goes by way too fast in the big picture!

Crossin' crossables for ya!

I feel like I could be but so far BFNs. It's my first proper PP cycle so it's very hard to remember what PMS is like. Who knows. I feel like I am but I'm probably just kidding myself. I'm 8dpo today. Getting to 10dpo would be good. BFP would be even better. I asked DH if he could see a second line and he said maybe. But there wasn't even an evap line. He was just being kind (he thought I was imagining one and didn't want to upset me). Last time I was pregnant I fancied marmite... It caught my eye in the cupboard yesterday and I had to have some but I doubt it really means anything. Damn, I wish I knew! 2ww is about a week too long for my liking!

Yes, no, yes, no, yes, no. I'm really at the difficult end of the 2ww (2 week woe). Still no obviously +HPT. Yesterday I thought I could see something on my test and uploaded to www.canyouseealine.com. It's test number 16571. Todays tests were much the same so I'm not bothering to upload. I'm pretty sure I wasn't getting these "lines" on the same tests I've been using since last week, but why isn't it any stronger today? I purposely avoided drinking much yesterday evening.

My chart doesn't look good either. I flatlined just above my coverline. That can't be good at this stage. It looks more like approaching AF than an implantation dip. I was woken up several times during the night and DS nursed three times during the night (2:00, 5:00 and 6:30). I should have said no but I was so tired it was easier to let him nurse than to deal with a screaming toddler. He was very restless all night. He has molars coming in. Bless him. I took my temp at 7.40. My usual time is 8.00. Not sure how much my temp would have been effected by the mulitiple wakings. I used the tool to "convert" my temp and using that I had a small rise. I've ordered a new thermometer because the one I'm using is rubbish. I see the same temps over and over again so I know it can't be accurate at all. I was 97.90 yesterday AND today. The same numbers keep showing up.

I've just tested again after holding my juice for 4 hours. Here's the test at exactly 10 mins, which is the full testing time suggested on the pack.

I honestly didn't see any evap lines on these strips on the first days I was testing. But perhaps that's because I wasn't expecting to see anything at all so early. But I remember looking really closely when DH said he could see something. Afterwards he admitted he was looking at wrong place.
