I thought I was willing to do ANYTHING to conceive another little one, but I'm just not strong enough for this :o)

I bought a Large bottle of powdered Spirulina ("Pure Hawaiian Spirulina pacifica"--- all Biosecure and everything) thinking I'd save *a little* money since I spent about $300 on vitamins/supplements this month YIKES... anyway, I can't stomach the smell, so I'm probably going to go get it in pill form.

I hate for this to go to waste-- I scooped out 1/2 tsp.

Have you tired mixing it in a fruit shake? Throw it in a blender with same fruit and yogurt and your shake will look green but it will taste good.

oh yuck. If you don't get any takers, there are 2 options I can think of. One is to get a protein shake to put it in (you can mix with rice milk or soy milk). The other is to capsule it up yourself....Or of course, the third, what I would do, is to put it on the top shelf, saying I'd use it "in a pinch" if I ran out of tablets.
I totally get you. I try to break down my supplements and buy some at a time, and just try not to think about it. Shoot, by now, if I'd saved that money, I could probably afford to buy a baby :P

OK... I am learning so please be patient.

How does Spirulina help fertility/conceiving? I know it is high in protein and lots of vitamins, but is there anything specific it does? When I google I am not finding case studies.

LOL Sunday! I don't do any vitamins or anything... but that's hilarious. We might have to pay for testosterone treatments for DH which is annoying... since medically he should have it anyway. We'll see what the insurance says tomorrow.

I'm still learning too :o)

I have a "nutritional healing" book on supplements from an american view point that says:

spirulina produces 20X the protein of soy.
