Just wanted to send good luck to any TTC and BFing Mamas... is there anyone on the board anymore?

We're totally done, youngest is 16 months, and still BFing.  Of course now that we're not trying cycles came back at 15 months... isn't that just how it goes.  Feeling very good about being done, and enjoying family life as is.  For those still TTC I send you lots and lots of luck and patience!!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Lovely post Jasmine. Im so in love with my 3 little ones too. although im remaining open to the possiblity of another :) i joined this board awhen i was bf my #1 who is now 4 and a half and my #2 is 2 and a half and my #3 is 13 months. ive not managed to get past 14 months whilst bf without being pregnant again. im nit desperate for another, im seeing the advantage of having a bigger gap (or just having 3!) but i just love being pregnant and giving birth and having lots of babies so much im not ready to say im done :)

Hi L!!!! Long time no post! I have been MIA for over a year now I think.....when the board change overs happened I just got kind of discouraged and then out of the habit of checking in. I also felt like I needed to step back a bit as although I know we are done and am so, so grateful for our beautiful children, I was struggling a bit knowing we are done and feeling so much like I wanted "just one more". It is a hard habit to break - checking CM, wondering if you O'd, counting LP days lol.....and it is challenging when I hear someone new is pregnant or had a baby ....silly i know but I think I will always feel like that but have to respect my DH and also my age at this point. Our struggle to get #3 was a hard one and I will always dearly and truly remember the love and support I was offered here during that time and beyond. Our girl is now 2 1/2 (!!!!!) - not sure where the time went but I guess with our boys (8 and 6) there is no rest or down time very often! Our family fills my heart and when I see my 3 lined up, I cannot believe that I really and truly got what I always hoped for. She is still nursing and not showing any signs of stopping - usually in the morning, at nap time if she doesn't fall asleep in car, and bedtime of course..It took her about 2 years to get to the point of being night weaned, but I think my cycles came back at around a year or maybe earlier? Goodness, I cannot remember at all! So strange that I don't know every specific anymore... I do know my periods were pretty regular for a bit but have been a bit wonky lately and my LP is all over the place some months.....kind of annoying but I will say it has been really nice nursing and not worrying about what it is doing to my cycle! Anyways, I do plan on checking in and I really hope some more people say hello. I am so glad your family is doing well L! xxxx Jasmine
