Hello! It’s been a while since I posted an update on my niece Rosemarie. She’s doing ok and her cancer has been stable, which isn’t great, but at least it’s not growing. Last summer Rosemarie lost her hair (for the third time!), and myself and my family shaved our heads in solidarity. Rosemarie is five now and it’s harder for her now when she loses her hair. In August when I shaved I donated 14” of my hair to the Wigs 4 Kids which provided Rosemarie with a wig.

Emily,

I've kept your quilting blog/pictures bookmarked on my favorites and have followed the pictures of your niece (and your gorgeous curly locks!!!). I think you are truly an inspiration and I'm sure your niece will remember her aunt's bald head for far longer than the memories of her own hairloss. I will happily make a donation.

Best of Luck to your Niece and to you.

Hey Emily :) You are an awesome Auntie and an inspiration! I dearly hope that your niece will be in full remission very soon and she grows up to have a glorious and happy life. My mum's brother has leukemia when he was only 8, so this is a cause close to my family's heart.
I will ask hubby if we can donate and do so this week.
Post us a pic of your cute shaved head when you can - and tell us how you are doing soon as well!
Big hugs, Jasmine
