I'm reading the best book ever for fertility, so I thought I'd share with anyone who's interested. It's by Randine Lewis. It's very eastern medicine, but it's stuff you can do, and changes you can make, without going to an accupuncturist. It has a checklist, that helps you determine your "diagnosis" and then goes on to tell what to do to balance your system and increase your fertility from there, based upon that diagnosis. Basically, dietary changes, herbs, accupressure, etc.

In the AMA section, she says that women should be able to have babies up until menopause. I like that very much :)

My thought is that, even though I know why I"m having fertility issues(bfing), increasing my fertility still can't hurt. When we were ttc DS, and I was 20, it took about 6 months, so I've never been a fertile myrtle. With DD, it took somewhere between 9 months and a year. And that was with a 14-15 day lp.

Sunday,

It's so good it has a section on AMA......I always think when I see fertility stuff that it couldn't apply to me b/c I'm 44...not only that but 44 and nursing. But you're right.

And I think that even though I got pregnant at 40 or even 42 quickly while nursing....the combo of 44 and nursing has pushed me over the edge. Thanks for the heads up!

BTW, how ARE you? Hanging in there?

I just ordered the cream and the book :o)

The cream I have does have the bio-identical progesterone in it, but I vaguely remember reading somewhere that it's only good for

I'm...well...10 dpo, that's how I am. Not having any IPS that couldn't be explained away by the progesterone I'm taking. But....I have only had 2 cycles (out of 13) where I didn't start spotting on 9 dpo. Only 1 (but I don't trust it, it was the great no-temp experiment) where I didn't start spotting on 10 dpo. So, if I don't start spotting today, I will feel a mite bit hopeful. I'm trying to just tell myself that if I can just get to 12 dpo without spotting, that would be a huge step in the right direction. I am cramping like crazy, though, but I know that one can go either way :S

The section on AMA was really good, and really optimistic.

Gotta run. Crazy toddler just broke free....

Hopeful for you this month!

I read this awhile ago and it prompted me to see an accupuncturist.
