I was on this board a LOT, about 3 years ago. I was TTC while BF and at first had no AF. It didn't come back until 16 months PP, and I had been taking vitex for a couple months. Maybe just good old fasioned time, but I don't know. My son was 18 mos when I got a BFP, and had only had 2 PPAFs. He had been sleeping through the night since 3 months, which I was shocked at. We nursed for 23 months, I was 20 weeks pregnant with my DD. Looking back, I do have some thoughts on things I could have done differently. I do wish I had been more open and educated on tandem nursing. It's not out of the question for me. Anyway, all is well and my kids are happy and healthy. They are 27 mos. apart.
Fast fwd, after the birth of my DD Amelia (at home! <3) AF was back in 5 months. The child is now 22 months, nurses through the night, nurses like a newborn... aah! But I do love it and have no weaning plans. Well... except at night! We have been talking about having a 3rd (and a 4th later) and doing it soon. So for the last month or so, we have been doing nothing to stop it, but are not too active on the "trying". There are some times we BD on CD 11, 18 and 19, and it could have happened. So maybe I have graduated as I am writing my first post? LOL!
I am not temping. That is a joke in my bed. I really enjoyed it last time we were CTA and TTC, but no way now. I have checked CP a few times. Played with some OPKs a friend gave me, but not since I knew how to read the derned things. Oops! Not that I was using it to make anything happen anyway. Literally, playing. Oooh, sticks to pee on! Okay dokay! :P
Now I am on CD 25, and starting to wonder. My acrobatic nurser is at times a little rough, but nothing that bothers me other than the twiddling and kicking me in the face. And... the unlatching while lying down, doing the alligator death roll, then trying to re-latch on the poor smooshed nipple. Any WAY... my nipples are so sensitive right now! Just in the last 24 hours, and it's really got me wondering. Hmmmmm...
