Hi,

I'm definitely in "limbo land"... my son is 13.5 months old and still no AF. I am now back to work, starting this week, so there is a 10 hour gap during the day with no nursing or pumping (for the last month we have been gradually transitioning to daycare). He nurses right before going to daycare, as soon as he gets home, right before bed (nurses to sleep) and then wakes up in the middle of the night for a snack. Is there anything I can do (short of stopping BF) to encourage the return of my fertility?

Thanks,

Carolyn

CJ, are you charting? I would highly recommend it...that way you can find out if you are actually ovulating, and time your BD perfectly. It's not a guarantee of an easy conception, but I think it really helps. If you're not charting and you have questions, make sure you post a question about it! I think the best resource is "Taking Charge of your Fertility" I checked out a copy from my public library, and found it very helpful. She explains all about the why, how, what, etc, of charting.

Welcome!

Heather

Hi! My first time on this board. I am an active member of the May02 pg board. I have an 11month old nursling. My dh and I would like to start trying to concieve but I have only had about 3 af's since delivery(still waiting on one now...about 3wks late). I have no idea how to get started or what I should be doing to increase my chances of conceiving. Would love any advice or info you all have!

TIA,CJ
