actually I had bloodwork done to check prolactin and my DD was nursing several times a day still ( I cannot remember if she was still night nursing) she was just over two and it came back at the levels of non-nursing women.

I took prometrium when my DS was 8 months to try to jump start AF back on track. It worked great - No side effects that I could tell. I had gotten AF prior to this, but it was not regular - this helped AF comes back on a more regular schedule. Just to note, I did get AF back early and had a few cycles with short LP and then went for a few months without AF till I took the prometrium and then they came back more regular. Hope this helps you! I can't remember exactly, but I think I only took one pill a day not two, my doctor knew I was breastfeeding at the time, so you just might make sure you don't take to much while nursing.

In regards to your "little white lie"......; )

You could always say that you assumed she'd be weaned b/c she was close or heading in that direction...or some variation. But she had other ideas so you're actually still nursing.

If it's even an issue....

Good luck. I know the pain of waiting for ppaf.......you can see the pic. of my stash of 284 neg. opk's if it'll make you feel any better. ; )

I wouldn't even worry about it, unless the doc comes back and says something to you, and then I'd just say, similarly to Dee, gosh, I thought she HAD weaned. Started back up, what can you do *shrug*

I hope the prometrium works for you. Good luck!
